Yeah I'm still keen if he doesn't get selected for SOO, and I would keep him as a starter in the CTRs.

If he doesnt get picked for Origin im picking him up next week and probably sticking the c on him. Always wanted to captain a ctr.
With the suspensions the way they are I reckon you'll want 3 playable ctrs in your final squad. I think Burton would be handy guys to have in your 21 because if Cleary is ever out for a week you know Burton will prob go big

Damn, should've just had them pick a player from a bye team. So you end up with a 3rd string 18th man? Who cares..

Boring Friday arvo at work I thought I'd post an update on the team I made starting round 2. I based this on players that looked the goods and either had a great week with low BE's and just simply picking the right cows and MID's to try and see how far I can go in the rankings starting in the second week of the competition. Starting team was;

After round 2 I scored 959 and rank going into round 3 was 89608.

Already have him and this origin chat has me a bit worried.  But I imagine he could be kept.  But my big hope is for another big game this week,  followed by a couple of weeks in the halves,  to get his price stupid expensive before selling to a rd17 player.

Yeah, I was going to put the C on him or on Hynes in rd13. Both should do well!

Im looking for a way to get fifita back and it involves downgrading walker to *someone*.

Its not an inspired choice, tbh i think hes back on the wing when dufty is fit.

Ill probably hold off the trade and hope something turns up. Verrills named in rnd 14 would be a winner

I'm still tempted to trade him in this week, but will probably just hold off til next week.

Thats a good point. Clubs/state teams could come to an agreement there, but getting the 15k match pqyment as an 18th man is a problem for "agreements"

Barring injury, i think he'll be in the team all year and with Penrith's attacking ability, scoring well. Good trade but be wary of him getting a potential origin call up.

Accidentally captained Soliola in the centres one year on a bye and he got a banner.

So I have $11k spare if I do;
Simpkin => Burton

If I leave it a week, it's probably a no go.
