That being said, I think Cleary gets some time off this year (maybe R14), and Burton probably plays that match anyway, in which case I potentially still want him...

Yeah that's frustrating. Very much how the Roosters played in the mid 2010s. Makes it exciting for neutral viewer because when it pays off it's awesome, but when it doesn't pay off it's frustrating for fans.

Neither he nor Kodi are controlling halves. Neither of them are organisers setting things up for the play two players before it happens. There is no plan.
Would love to see CHT grow into that role but I don't see it.
