When deciding my trades this week I usually ask my self which players won't back up and can I cover them. With the likes of no teddy turbo and Walsh will I have a full back. If Hass doesn't back up do I have a spare front row I'm willing to play.

Looking at the current top teams many only have 8-9 before trades and I always believe team value has a big indicated early on how many trades people have made. So not only does rnd 13 can be made to make big moves also if a fair few players don't back up rnd 14 people can see a big jump in ranking due to low number if origin players. This year will be survival of the fittest it seems.

Just a reminder that those who are waiting for the Warriors team list at 3pm today will be waiting a long time.

You'd be picking them for different reasons.

Manu could be a great pickup as a keeper centre. Chance he plays more 6. Or some 1. If you watch Robbo's post game presser he is very high on Manu and wants to have him more involved with ball in hand.

Suaali is just cheap cover who should get some games over origin, and maybe some more in the run home. You'd want him at position 20/21

Speaking of position 20/21 any love for Beale? Was a 30 odd guy at centre before retiring, has DPP CTR/WFB and scored a tryless 50 on the weekend

EDIT: Lomax was 6 weeks from round 9 so Beale would have a short shelf life

Sounds a bit stupid, but I'm secretly hoping Alvaro is dropped again with JDB back so I have an excuse to downgrade him for coin.

Please answer a, b or c on this trade - Simonsson out & S. Blore in:
(a) good trade for the 90k & Blore will start round 13 or
(b) sideways trade just keep Simonsson because 90k is nothing so keep Simonsson for round 17 or
(c) bad trade because at least Simonsson will start whereas Blore will play mostly off the bench & who knows with Maguire

(d) wait for outcome of judiciary hearing

IF Leilua suspended for two games and Blore starts both games, he could force Maguire to keep him there (Garner back to bench when Leilua returns). Seems like Garner has been playing alright lately though.

At least you won't have to play Olam...queue Olam scoring 50+
