What're most people thinking on Haas also? Is he being kept even with his niggly knee? Seems miraculous if he's recovered from a 1-4 week injury within the space of a few days.

TPJ -> Haas could be an option. Both averaging 55-60 (since TPJ moved to 80m edge role)

The difference with Teddy is that you could also expect good scores in future rounds. Getting him in against Broncos was about trying to predict his cheapest possible price, rather than specifically just getting him for a one-off score against a crap team.

Burton should score very well this week, but afterwards will go back to CTR where he needs tries to get his score up. (and there is always the chance he ends up dropped again for momo)

Better comparison would be someone like Sivo playing the Broncos at Bankwest. It's a 1 week play that might be worth a gamble if it cost 300k. I wouldn't go anywhere near it at 500k

Yeah a fair loss on Haas for those who got on very early, looking likely to lose a fair bit more also.

So Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill has suggested we be given a half day public holiday next Wednesday to allow people to travel to Townsville. I am all for that!

I bought Haas for 850k and so far he's delivered a 77, 51 and 34. I overpaid for his output but I don't see any reason to sell him. He'll probably still be one of the best MID options to finish the year.

Well I had already allocated all the tickets to all my mates, some had already paid me, first and probably only ever SOO in Townsville (regional stadium).

I also feel super lucky that I was able to score 10 tickets in such a good spot, where I see so many on Facebook unable to get any.

Plus the guy offering me 6K is a really shit bloke!\

Where are Brian To'owners landing? Currently a top 5 WFB with solid base in a strong side. If rested after origin he misses two rounds which could be 100 points left on the table. Might be a decision I make a minute before kick off

Any word on if Mann plays? Heard he was out 1-3 weeks and would consider Mann>Hunt if out this round

Not often you'd see a young winger rested after origin. They're usually hyped to go again.

Barry Toohey is of the opinion he'll be on the bench if passed fit.

Still pretty undecided on the following:

    a) Pap, Starling, Simpkin to Macca, TPJ, May, 15 this round

    b) Starling + Simpkin to Macca + Jones, 14 this round

    c) Starling to Burton, wait for a better cashout for Simpkin, 13 this round

I meant to trade Pap last week, but fucked it and traded Crichton instead. It seems a bit wasteful to trade him now though with Teddy and Walsh probably gone next week and a chance he plays.

B is my current preference, that's solid right?

Yeah I think B is best of those options

Is everyone captaining Hynes then? Leading iPap 7 - zip in the TU/TD thread which surprised me a bit.

My #1 learning last year was "Don't overthink matchups and just captain your highest average - twice I took it off McInness in the last month, and those weeks he scored 90 & 83, compared to my captains scoring 45 and 55."

    That cost me top 1,000.

If I follow that advice it's Brailey or iPap.

Hynes against the Titans without DiFi, MoFo, Tino and Brimson coming off a 100 and a 90 is bloody tempting though.

He might not get a huge score but honestly given other options I'd say he's worth the risk. He's a heavily involved fullback, gets lots of run metres, Cooper Johns is always playing out the back to him. The Titans cannot defend and I doubt they'll suddenly put on a defensive masterclass against the Storm.
