How much of the massive rankings slide will I be able to recover?

I simply don't trust Fanhub enough to put four green dots in the 18-21 in a bye round.

Me either unfortunately. I thought about it, but have no faith.

Suaali is promising and will play a few games but enough to make another 150k?

Jones a likely 2 good score player while frizell is out before going back to the bench. base price at least and good job security off the bench for a lovely 15 points..

Historically do we normally get many good cows back half of the season? I know origin throws up some short termers but any good ones ever?
I think that the delayed player transfer cutoff will have a big impact this year, which will likely offer some late value. Clubs contending for the 8 will look to make some moves to sure up weaker positions, and players in teams getting smashed every week will be keen to move on. High historical injury and suspension rates will also have a bigger impact this year and require having more trades to cover late in the season.

One trade for the week. I know people say to hold your keepers but I have a strategy. Cleary to Hunt. Then when Pappy is back I'll go Hynes to Cleary. Should make some coin off the switch and doesn't kill me trade wise. Holding my other origin stars (Tommy/Teddy) as there's a good chance they back up r17. So team for the week

    J.Brailey
    Alvaro, JFH, Twal
    Ipap, X
    Hynes(vc), Hunt(c)
    Peachey, Bird
    Laurie, Talau, X

    Mahoney, Macca, Cheese, Watson

Tempted to bring Jones in but will hold the temptation. Maybe if Mahoney is recalled to Origin.

    May v Mbye.

I guess it comes down to what DPP is more important. WFB/CTR is tempting

Does it not come down to one of them starts five-eighth for his club and the other is back out in the wilderness after this week??

The days of not caring (or actively wanting) red dots are long gone imo: too many suspensions and injury layoffs as it is in modern setup

Surprised to hear the OTL podcast boys are looking to be happy with about 11each this round....
suppose there are many ways to play this game, especially in the bye rounds, but seems very conservative. Going 4 trades and playing 15 here

Any chance DEdwards becomes a keeper? Should get a bit of extra work through the origin period.

Currently bringing in Hynes, but looking for alternatives.

Who do you think has better JS?

I'm currently on Kelly in for Simpkin, just not sure how many games Suaalii will actually see, relies on injuries/resting too much. Same for Jones and Campbell, like others have said we need just about everyone to actually be playing with all the suspensions and injuries so seem too risky to me.

If there was any news that Verrills was likely to return rd14 I think I'd just go Simpkin to him instead right now

Kelly could stay all year or be dropped next week. Same with Jones but at least he looks to have solified a spot in the 17 for the year. 70K cheaper too.

If he stays injury free, he would be close to good enough I would think.

Good to see another sucker bringing Hynes in this week. Join the club! Beer

Main risk for Kelly is staggs I think. The two centres seem to be locked in there currently with Herbie and Arthur’s. Gamble leads the team vocally so it’s really Kelly v Arthurs for staggs when he’s back in my opinion. If Kelly stays he will be much better value than Jones as he looks a 40-50 scorer whereas Jones may be mid 30’s at best?

4 for me, prob try and get to 8 but don’t have the trades for more than that.

Most likely trade ins Harris, CHN, Verrills

Currently 2 with CHN and Walker. Will trade in Tohu, SJ, Tauk, Thompson, Aitken, Taumalolo, AFB, Verrills at a minimum taking me to 10. Prpbably add someone like Walsh if named at fullback again. Outside chance ARey ends up in the team. I think 10 will be well above average

That's because they have probably max traded trying to stay relevant. I heard there are big prizes on offer for being at the top at the 50 metre mark of a 100 metre race

Yeah they've been hit by injuries and suspensions like everyone else. There aren't many players that have a gpod bunch of trades saved. You'll be one of the few having 20+ trades left going into this round.

Captaincy poll for the community team - https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1678-rd-13-team - no Cleary means an actual, genuine contest. useful intel for those of us who don't have to wrestle with this conundrum on a weekly basis...
