Probably leaning no trades and Macca (c) for the week

Don’t have the Balls to captain Hynes and would rather fairly high chance of 55+ from Macca

If you are going safe wouldn’t Brailey be a safer C?

Through cunning use of benchwankery, at 4pm Sunday, James Roberts and Daniel Alvaro will be the only players to have scored for me.

Everyone else I have is either playing in the last game, or in my 18-21

How much of the massive rankings slide will I be able to recover?

Must save my sideways trades for the run home...must save my sideways trades for the run home....must save my sideways trades for the run home

Just apropos of nothing (do you like that?) here is a short list of dudes who have previously been stuck in my team in the final weeks of a season not helping me to maximise my overall ranking potential

    AM9
    Ben Hunt
    JFH
    Jazz Tevaga
    JDB
    Adam Reynolds

Any of those names ring a bell? that is all

I wouldn’t trade Turbo out mate. Manly have a soft draw coming home too you gotta hold him mate. I like the other 2 trades though.

Any consensus on the best/least bad cheapie this week? Regardless of bye round

Suaali is promising and will play a few games but enough to make another 150k?

Jones a likely 2 good score player while frizell is out before going back to the bench. base price at least and good job security off the bench for a lovely 15 points..

Historically do we normally get many good cows back half of the season? I know origin throws up some short termers but any good ones ever?

I simply don't trust Fanhub enough to put four green dots in the 18-21 in a bye round.

What numbers do people have for round 17 after their planned trades this week and before any planned trades pre round 17?

4 for me, prob try and get to 8 but don’t have the trades for more than that.

Most likely trade ins Harris, CHN, Verrills

Only 2 trades for me and I'll run 11 this week with 11 trades left.

    Will probably be looking at

    Watson - Harris
    Fog to chn

For rnd 14 and bringing back curran if starting again soon also on my radar

My team value is 12.96mil with 96k itb.

I’m strongly thinking I might go Simonsson to A. Kelly this week. Kelly should keep that spot for the next 4-6 weeks surely. I know it’s not without risk but I think Milf is done now and Croft is still injured and he’s been in and out also and been poor. I think Kelly has looked quite good also. At 301k I feel he could make 150 maybe 200k and Simonsson is sitting there doing nothing for me. My patience is wearing thin.

If Teddy and Tommy T are out for round 14 along with Walsh out I realised I have S. Crichton, Laurie and Hynes as cover anyway.

If I pull the trigger on Simo out I’m down to 14 trades though that’s the thing but I think the risk is worth it. It gives me a 13th player for round 13 as well.

I only have CHN, Schuster and Walsh currently for round 17 but I think I’ll aim for 8 players for round 17 but just to try and get guns. If I I can get 9 players then even better but I can’t see myself having more than that.

Alvaro to Verrills is a likely trade I make come round 14-15 as well.

I also realise out of Fifita and Pap I’ll probs only be able to get one of them in I think I want Fifita so that means I’d have to run without Pap as I wanna get Tohu in.

Teddy Tommy T and Walsh though I feel is a gun back 3 and I feel Walsh is a keeper.

    Thoughts on all this?.....

I got him last week so I may have owner tinted glasses on but I think his job security is decent. Seems to run the ball quite a bit which adds to his base. I think he'll kick the ball more than Gamble most weeks but they've only played 1 game together.

The thing with Turbo imo is he probably won't play round 14 & the games he does play he could get an early shower like in previous games & Manly have a good run coming up so this reinforces the early shower situation.

Looking ahead to round 18-19 I wanna try look something like this:

    Cook
    AFB Haas Tohu
    Fifita CHN
    Cleary Moses
    S. Crichton Manu/Harper
    Teddy Walsh Tommy T

    Brailey Angus Schuster Thompson/SST
    Peachey Verrills A. Kelly Roberts

Something like this is what I’m after but not sure I can get there.

I would need to do Alvaro to Verrills, Macca to Cook, Hynes to D. Fifita, TPJ to Tohu, Watson to AFB, Bird to Manu or Harper, Laurie to Thompson.

If I can’t afford Thompson might have to go someone a bit cheaper like a SST as I have not generated quite enough cash.

Would leave me 7 trades left for the run home. As always though an injury or suspension can throw plans into chaos.

I need Tohu and D. Fifita though for sure though.

Trading out Kelly to a real cheap player or red dot is also an option for looping.
