Byes have always and will always be the best time to make up ground. In the back end when your POD scores 60 and everyone else owns the guy scoring 55 you gain 5 points that week. During the byes you can get a 60 while most get a 0 and rocket up the rankings
To be fair if others are out of trades near the backend and some still have trades it's also great way to boost rankings
Coming from a serial tradeaholic who is always out of trades with multiple rounds to go

Best way to deal with it is to not play at 730 in morning. Other wise putt harder and straighter.

Beginning to think I might have been a year early on Leniu. Still doesn't look like he has the fitness to match the talent. Need Watson and Leniu to not lose a combined 7k so I can afford my planned trades

Agree. He's a great player but you can see he just doesn't have the fitness. Gets gassed so easily. I thought a couple of the benchies looked a bit better than him last night.

And then spend several rounds getting rid of value on your bench bolstering your scoring team. I think I’ll drop heaps once aes come in.

If Peach scores a 30 I'm gonna sell my fantasy team on Facebook marketplace for a snickers bar
260/6 with Brailey, Peach, Watson, RM12, Fog, Moses, (C)ynes, Jones to come and I've gone backwards

Having a good 18th and 19th man this year isn't as much as problem as previous years. If Cleary, Turbo, Fifita and Haas don't back up there will be a few teams playing short

I don't think Mbye was that dud of a trade to be honest. Was on track to hit a decent score in the 30's or low 40's, his DPP cover and the fact he's always in the team in one position or another could be useful late season when WFB's are rested. Just shithouse timing he gets injured the week I pick him.

Must have been a tough start to the season to be ranked 10k after 12 rounds!
I reckon rd 17 will be the best rd to make up ground. Alot of teams will be low on trades by then and wont be able to bring in numbers for rd 17.
How many players are you aiming for in rd 17? Ive already got Tohu, Thompson, CHN, Curran and Walsh but will be aiming for about 8.

7/353. 8 to come so hopefully will keep climbing after my worst week all year last round. Like a lot of you hoping for another Hynes biggie tonight, just not at the expense of Fog or Peach.

Howdy Y'all,
I think that there is some serious temporal/spatial anomaly that prevents Leniu from playing a cumulative total of more than 35 minutes in a game and for longer than 20 minutes at a time. Think a Cinderella-type situation, but that he phases in and out of existence or something like that. The first game of the year he played 38 minutes - and something really bad must have happened. There must have been a tear in space and time enough that Ivan thought the better of trying it again.
Either that, or as said, he's just not fit enough (though he's barely running the ball since Rd6).
PS. So glad I held him and Alvaro 13 rounds for their cumulative 43 points. Bye planning, am I right?
The Mayor.

I did the same move, I think it was solid. Was motivated by DPP, especially for R14 when Walsh is suspended and there are resting risks with Teddy etc. Injury is just unlucky.
I think he’s a solid 19th-ish man for the season.
