    Yeah definitely not a bold prediction on my part, the refs/judiciary have shown their hand the past couple of rounds, but a couple of the borderline ones will just go on report tonight imo.

    And yeah I don't expect much to come of all the incidents put on report tonight, apart from any obvious ones.

    Yeah but I also reckon there’s a good 35-ish players Freddie would’ve vouched for if suspended.

    Just on Mahoney I could be wrong but I vaguely remember last year didn't he have a shoulder injury & he was supposed to be out for a while but he came back early. Apparently after the game he was on the radio saying he'd be right for this week. Obviously he's out & the scans aren't promising but he seemed to think he'd be ok.

    Can you imagine in February saying Albert Kelly and Karmichael Hunt will be an NRL halves pairing.

    The Broncos need to rebuild. Don’t know why you’d run with a guy who hasn’t played NRL since 2009. They’d be better sticking with Gamble or throwing Staggs into the deep end now. I would probably go the former and leave Staggs until a full offseason with Reynolds before switching to 5/8. Just to avoid him being ruined.

    Based on what NRL physio wrote scans revealed it was worse than thought at the time (different mechanism). So its now a proper dislocation where it’s 3-6 weeks, or 6 months with surgery. But looks like surgery can be avoided.

    Do the Raiders have anyone else to come in? CNK is season, correct? Was Aekins injured or dropped? Is Rapana fit enough for fullback? Don't mind the idea of Simmonson back in if he can keep the FB role. Would be my long term WFB cover and probably allow me to keep all of my centres.

    Last time Rapana was fb he was out of puff very quickly. Don’t think he goes back there

    Aekins is named to play Cup

    Politis would have phoned up Freddy, told him to say they'd both have been picked or else he'd be persona non grata to the Roosters.

    Think my trades hinge on whether Cleary is playing, and whether I need Fog to come in as HLF cover.

    If Cleary plays:

    Fog -> CHN
    Stefano -> Tauk

    If Cleary doesn't play

    Pap -> Lolo/Thompson
    Stefano -> CHN

    I could also just hold trades as I don't particularly want to sell Pap or Fog this week, but CHN seems pretty close to a must-have and those are my only obvious routes to get him.

    Any glaring issues with that?

    Even if he's at the lower end of that with three weeks, that means a fair chance he misses 14,15,16 even with the week off, before missing 17 with the bye. Has to be a trade right? Probably quashes any thoughts of selling Brailey, unless I went straight to Cook or something.

    I have 13 trades left coming into this round. Fog to CHN worth it?

    Trading out a green dot but make some cash, improve my EDG depth and get another R17 scorer.

    Yeah no way Rapana plays FB. He was completely gassed. Like on his haunches in back play.

    Thinking of doing the same. I'm 50/50 on it, but as long as Cleary plays I'll probably pull the trigger

    Interesting is if they get picked later in the series. If either plays for the Roosters R17 it’s been a nice little loophole. Then again both were dealt with pretty harshly at the judiciary, especially Crichton.

    What are your thoughts on Angus potentially getting the call up for games 2 and 3? Just concerned cos I am looking to bring him into my team this week. Hopefully NSW thump them in the opener so Freedy dont feel the need to fix what ain't broken.
