I really don't think Verrills is going to be playable splitting hooker with Keighran at the Roosters, and even if you can afford the trades for a cow he'll be too slow burning.

As a straight cashout that'll sit in 21 and score a 30 in an absolute emergency still might do it through.

    This is my thinking.

Wasn't the real issue with Fifita that the club/player paid some form of compensation/hush money to the complainant without notifying the league?

Pretty sure he was invited on to the property which makes the trespassing thing irrelevant (otherwise the police would have pursued charges) so the issue was all about the steps taken to hush it up.

Yep I'm a Westie I've played heaps of time at your home ground the main field was great to play on. There must be good drainage there because all the fields were always dry & good for spinning the ball around. Maybe the lower fields got a bit muddy but they were still good. Geoff Morton was a Glenora boy he played for your premiers & I think he coached your premier team at some stage.

Yeah I think the issue was a 10k payment to the family & that it was hush money & that it affected the salary cap so it should of been disclosed.

Also in my many years of playing league I have been hit in the head, knee'd in the head, elbowed in the head, received plenty of swinging arms, I even got knee'd in the kidney 1 time (boy did that hurt & it was intentional) but in my day you just picked yourself up & carried on & if there was dirty play i was sorted on the field & after the game you had a beer with the guy who did it to you.

Most of the time you don't feel it or are not certain what happened anyway.

667 with Bird, McCullough and Ramsey to go, I will be lucky to see 800. (only 16 players)

iPap, Watson, Laurie, Starling, Ramsey, Hynes (only 1-2 more weeks), Schuster (still 1-2 more weeks away).

They're my planned trade outs for the next month (will hold Schuster as possible season keeper).

665 with Hunt, Averillo and Bird. Awful week and I have no idea how it got so bad. Captain Tohu was the right choice but still not enough to help me.

Laurie a trade next week. I'll hold Watson for now, until R17 at least. Two scores below 40 all year and my trades are dwindling.

You are gonna score 810 or so mate that’s not awful when some of us are struggling to hit 730-740ish.

If he paid the money himself there would be no issue but it was the club that paid it and didnt disclose it.

Ive seen rumours that the Titans also lied about the hush money the first time too where as the integrity unit asked the family how they got the money and that's how they found out hence why its now an issue again 6 months later but that could be just rabble. Makes sense though

Just thinking out loud, I might choose Adam Keighran as a cash-out for R17. He's been playing bigger minutes and getting better at the dummy half role every week. Got a 41 with 9 missed tackles so if he improves his tackling he can get some good scores.

Just preparing myself for the worst, but as I mentioned before, Walsh with the elbow, one week. Bird with the stomp, one week too, so seems in line with all those. Can't recall the Ryan James one.

He'll be the bench utility once Verrills is back, no?

Still think he'll start and play 50-60 minutes. Verrills has barely played at all this season, he won't start for a while yet in my opinion.
