Hmmm....Hopefully two more games starting for Brodie then. With the bye that surely would be the case. Coach seems to like him and Toohey speaking pretty confidently that he'll feature heavily in the team moving forward from what I can gather.

What do we think is a good number of players are for round 17?  Or total score based on averages?

I'm currently 6/350 but planning to add 3-5 more if the form and price is right

I think most will have around 7-9 with some going for 10-11 to catch up

Like R13 it's more who you have, not how many you have: Tohu, Averillo, Schuster (if he holds spot on return), Walsh & CHN (for cash gen) the popular ones around here and then fair few bits and bobs in different teams depending on team balance

For anyone playing draftstars & keen on some first & anytime tryscorer punting, we've got our data updated for Round 15. Use the model projections as a guide to identify value plays - eg. in the Panthers Dogs game a few weeks ago, it suggested some of the Dogs rookies were good value. This was because we didn't have enough data on them rather than them actually being good value. This week you can see that BMM & Nicholls at $81, NBrown at $67 for FTS are good value and can also see how they are noticeably higher odds on one site than the others. Always happy to chat further on the Draftstars thread or PM. Will include the link to our weekly analytics article tomorrow when it's up!

Just laid down a post in the TU/TD thread. Bit torn on what to do this week.

Thinking of doing Pappy/Laurie/Cotric for Tohu/Averillo/Verrils, but I can't drum up great enthusiasm for it. Even if I do think it's a good set of trades.

Just trying to think of alternative, if I didn't do that.

a. looks like decent trades, gronk.
b. trade Pappy to Tohu and hold Laurie/Cotric and wait for Lomax. Sadly, I can't do Cotric to Lomax this week as I don't have the cash. I worry that Cotric will lose similar money to Lomax this week and I still won't be able to afford the swap without a second trade next week.
c. Hold Pappy if he's going to be back for R16 and just enjoy the 17 green dots I have this week.
d. Do this (insert awesome alternative)

Currently have 9 players for Round 17. Need to decide on Reynolds/Averillo/Cook. Got Gamble to cash out once he peaks, then the cash to be used to upgrade Watson/Hynes at some point

Currently 500/9c (that's doubling Tohu's score) but plan to bring in three more over next few weeks, which would be a cut-price gun forward (Tolo? Taupau? Jackson?), a gamble boom-bust mid-ranger (Talakai? Tapine? AFB if he drops loads?) and a cashout (Verrills/other). So maybe 620. Plus Angus if he doesn't get Origin 3, but I think he will. Need to get a couple of hundred over mean for this round to compensate for having 11 in Round 13.

Also after a link for the Gal fight lol

This is so ugly but here it is grouped by position, letter after the name is the first letter of the position (H = Halfback, F = Five-Eighth etc.), min 10% kick share required.



Shaun Johnson looks a great bet.
