Was some debate on here last year about whether Foran was actually that good in real life also.

Guy was absolutely up there in his prime, no questions

At his peak he was the best 6 in the comp in a period that included Barrett, Marshall and past his prime Lockyer.

Not only was he a wizard with ball in hand he played with no regard for his body and hit like a truck.

Lot of capped freed up losing Cordner and Friend. Morris boys don't help too much since contracts expire this year anyway. Would love him at the Roosters

I’m really happy to make my final an investment in 14 winning polos, but I won’t be back to either win one or defend one.

    I’m blaming Jamal Fogarty

I feel out of touch with the game and lack a bit of passion for it and largely lay all blame on this one little half from the Gold Coast Titans.

When I get in this situation where I can’t for the life of me see any situation whatsoever that I would own this guy,... I have to question things.

For me he is a guy if $360k I’d have a look at.
He’s more like $660 and rising, and looks worth it.

It’s at that point I realise... I’m out

I’m very drunk right now but this is a season and life defining moment where I reflect on the player fondly called out around here as THE FOG and say I can’t continue. Not if he is the answer to success.

Good season and life to you all, and well done in advance to all winners of the Ben Marlin shirts x

Hoping to still see you around the joint GM. The forum is better for your presence

Its pretty weird tbat this is a problem, really. Team spends all their time together all week. Training. Video sessions. Feeds. Flights. But go to one of their houses and its a big drama..? Im assuming they were celebrating a big win.

    People need to calm down

The issue is going to be current Sydney/Wollongong (not sure where players were but doesn’t matter) rules are 5 visitors to a house. I think. So my guess is it’s not just an NRL bubble thing it’s a NSW law thing.

Vaughan also got busted going to a cafe last year so he’s clearly an idiot.

If it is a dozen with the bubble rules we won’t be able to field 17 if they suspend players lol

Actually might be zero visitors Sydney/Gong. I’ve lost track as been doing the 14 day iso anyway.

Either way it’s not an NRL bubble issue but a public health order issue

Travelling alright heading in to Sunday

The good: Caught Hunt 95 and Fog 96 thanks to round 13 planning. Held Matterson for his 63 and getting the Koro bounce back for his 79. Didn't grab Tohu because I want to move Cleary.

The bad: Traded Cleary for Burton only for Burton to play centre. Round 17 players facing injury, suspension or quarantine include Simonsson, CHN, Aitken, Walsh

710 + Haas, SJ(C), Laurie to come today. Should have a decent end to the round as long as Broncos hold onto the ball

Burton a hold now with Luai going down also? Or do we think he probably returns in round 18?

I'm trading him to Fifita in 18. With Fifita missing origin he will be fit and firing

See Gamble scoring low today at 5/8 ?

Lucy back to sub 50's ?

I'm thinking of a luxury trade today, one of these out for Staggs.

Or Lucy out for any of Latrell, Cook, Murray. So tempted

Currently 851 with 4 to go today, although it is Gamble/Talakai/Laurie/Lucy

    Fantasy Fantasy Transfer Window

At the completion of this round, those of you who are playing can make your final transfer for the season. The procedure is exactly the same as the first transfers you made, and the window closes just before the Manly vs Canberra game on Thursday night.

    Cheers

Well gone up 400 odd place into the 700's with 935 with sj only to come guessing after today I won't be making much ground again.

Hoping timoko gets a run next week. Kris played shit and croker seems to be a shell of himself.

It’s just a different game now mate. There’s just no more tension/pressure/field position. The grind has been completely eliminated which I reckon sucks..
It’s just so hard to stay in games mate, you just can’t stop the momentum you are that cooked. Teams just go end to end
