Agreed, had a quick flick through some of his replies in that thread. Looks like he has his head screwed on. I'm sure a lot of players would be similar if they did something like this but he certainly has a lot of character on and off the field. Has a commerce degree, doing an MBA, and would be working part-time for HostPlus if it weren't for Covid. Hope to see him in an administrative role post-footy he would be an asset to the NRL.

Lucy back to sub 50's ?

I'm thinking of a luxury trade today, one of these out for Staggs.

I'd at least wait a week on Staggs

Gamble I'd hold for the cash, not so sure on Lucy

Ramien seems a better CTR pick anyway with R17. CTR was golden until this week

It’s just a different game now mate. There’s just no more tension/pressure/field position. The grind has been completely eliminated which I reckon sucks..
It’s just so hard to stay in games mate, you just can’t stop the momentum you are that cooked. Teams just go end to end

It’s a classic scenario - almost unanimous praise for these rules when they first came in by the media and your average punter, now the same people forming the lynch mob

Always the same with RL. Every change is praised, then the unintended consequence kicks in

I’m not adverse to change but they need to be made more carefully or be minor in nature - like the best change in RL in the last 20 years has been removing the corner post as part of the sideline. Meanwhile all these grand changes turn to shit

    Rant over

I edited the initial post after ur reply, soz.

Yeah Gamble could get a 50 and he is still rising.

Or Lucy out for any of Latrell, Cook, Murray. So tempted

Currently 851 with 4 to go today, although it is Gamble/Talakai/Laurie/Lucy

Looks like rd17 bye planning was kinda obsolete with players dropping left right and center

I don’t think you can be convinced not to trade, so I would go Murray. In fact, I am today. Souths play late R18 so should be no backing up issues post origin.

Love Talakai, will score 65 today

I'm going Lucy to Murray. If that helps your decision.. probably means stay clear Basketball

CTR actually had a lot of out of position players this year: Averillo, Peachey, Bird, Burton, Hampton
