    Got 7 trades left going into this week, and I was going to hold my trades, but I ran the numbers and my planned trades of Brailey/Watson/Hynes to Fifita/Ipap/Mahoney won't work, so I've come up with a better idea

    Jayden Brailey to the elite Dylan Walker this week. It might seem absolutely insane, and it is, but I think he might be a very handy cashout.

    331k, CTR/HLF dual, and playing a roving lock role for Manly. Most importantly, he's been very involved in the attack when he's on, much like Peachey is for the Titans. Obviously he wouldn't be in my 17 every week, the plan is for him to be my 18th/19th man alongside Verrills in the run home.

    The reason I'm doing this is so I can then trade Hynes and Harper to Ipap and Fifita next week (Harper would have to lose like 100k this week for this to not work, so unless he gets a -20, it should be ok)

    Doing those three trades will leave me with four for the run home and the following team:

    Hunt
    Haas, Harris, Crichton
    Fifita, Ipap
    DCE, SJ
    Avo, Bird
    Turbo, Teddy, Walsh

    Moses, CHN, Schuster, Watson

    Verrills, D Walker, Suaalii, Schoupp

    Cheers, I still haven't made back all the ground I lost in round 14 (went from 6k to 10k that week, now back at 7k), but I'm hoping to make a late charge with that team, and hopefully those 4 trades will last long enough for me to cover all the major injuries that are coming.

    Once you get in fifita and ipap, you'll have most of the top tier players. I assume you'll join in on the Cleary Recovery Death ride.

    Haas is starting to come good. Just seeing him in this team makes me want him in mine.

    Could be a good JFH upgrade target.

    8 tries, 29 goals, and 14 line breaks in his last 5 games will do that. Insane that he is more expensive than Teddy and Hynes now.

    Once again, there's no better strategy than trading in players who are about to score lots of tries.

    For people who are low on trades like my self. I'll be very careful of rnd 18 might be best to bring in the guns who will be backing up over origin. Since I cant see alot of teams that round playing with a full 17 without trades

    Yeah I should have most of the top tier guys, the only ones I won't have are Hughes and Cleary once he's back, since I won't have any realistic way of getting Cleary back. I sold Cleary to DCE last week under the pretense that DCE would outscore Cleary given that he has at least 3 extra games over Cleary, and that's assuming Cleary is back in R20

    Any news on repercussions for the Dragons being a pack of morons?

    Looking at the list of players involved. I reckon if you asked, who at the dragons is most likely to fuxk it up for everyone those guys would be the first mentioned.

    Is SJ pretty much a must have now Townsend is gone? Thinking of going Curran -> SJ in my h2h team.

    Vaughan and Norman were the first names I thought of and what do you know, Vaughan was hosting and Norman was the one that ran from the cops.

    Since everyone else is doing it.

    Trades: 9
    Cash Remaining: $302k

    HOK: J. Brailey
    MID: P. Haas, T. Harris, A. Crichton
    EDG: D. Fifita, I. Papali'i
    HLF: M. Moses, T. Gamble
    CTR: J. Bird, T. Peachey
    WFB: K. Ponga, J. Tedesco, T. Trbojevic

    INT: C. Watson, N. Hynes, C. Harawire-Naera, R. Walsh

    RES: M. Burton, S. Verrils, S. Crichton, J. Schuster

    Looking at my squad, say I want to save 3 trades, and use 2 trades to get Cleary back in. That leaves me with 4 trades.

    Trade out options:

    M. Burton - Now with Luai injured he may have saved himself for the forseeable future, but he is still a limited option. Even more short term if he is going to play CTR when Luai.

    J. Schuster - Injured, probably gets traded if he doesn't play this week.

    T. Peachey - Urgent trade out assuming he doesn't get the minutes. I feel like I have to make the trade for Averillo. He is going to bleed cash soon.

    T. Gamble - Will need an upgrade, may keep his position due to injuries with the Broncos, but doesn't need to happen yet.

    N. Hynes - Trade out whenever Pap returns, but will need to be traded out.

    Realistically this week Schuster + Peachey -> Averillo + Cash Out. Should leave me around $400k in the bank. One of Gamble/Burton/Hynes will stick around for when Cleary returns. I would love Brailey -> Hunt as well, that gives me $250k roughly to play with.

    Schuster -> Cash Out
    Peachey -> Averillo
    Brailey -> Hunt
    N. Hynes -> $588k
    T. Gamble -> Cashout
    T. Burton -> Cleary

    That leaves me with 3 trades in the bank to play with, and potentially extra money based on how much Gamble/Burton/Hynes earn, with those three being able to swap around as necessary. The big risk being that Cleary isn't ready when Burton/Gamble/Hynes all expire and I need to go with DCE. My 17th man being uner 588k wont be great, and keeping Watson isn't ideal.

    (Oh and the whole Dragons issue messing with Bird.)

    Will be sacrificing one of Matto, Brailey, Watson or Schuster for Lolo this week, who would you get rid of?

    Thinking Brailey.
