That's nice for Burton you would think.

Yep Burton's a hold. Not only are both halves out now, but Edwards, Momo and Jennings are all due back rd18 giving them more options in the three-quarters.

Yeah I'd be down to watch a game over Zoom. Probably wont want to watch a Roosters game with me though, Wolfy can probably confirm I'm a little extra when they play.

Fox Sports Reporting: Cleary mentioned but nothing of use.

Penrith will be without star five-eighth Jarome Luai for three to four weeks, but in some good news, fullback Dylan Edwards should be right to return for Round 18.

Panthers physio, Pete Green, provided an update on injured quartet; Luai, Edwards, Nathan Cleary and Paul Momirovski on Friday.

He revealed Luai’s knee injury suffered in Penrith’s Round 16 win over the Eels is a “moderate grade MCL injury” and he should be back in “three to four weeks.”

Luai’s halves partner, Cleary, is making some “solid progress” in his recovery from a shoulder injury, while Momirovski has “taken big steps” in his recovery from an abdominal tear.

What would be the hypothetical 'perfect' team for Round 19 onwards?

Assume Cleary/Harris are out for the season for the exercise.

    HOK: Hunt (maybe Mahoney?)
    MID: Crichton / iPap / ? (Haas?)
EDG: Fifita / ? (One of CHN, Murray or bring a DPP from the MIDs?)
    HLF: DCE / Hughes
CTR: 2 of Ramien, Averillo, Manu, Gagai, Bird or 60min Peachey
WFB: Trbo / ? / ? (2 of Ponga, Teddy, Paps, maybe Walsh)
INT: Leftovers from above plus maybe SJ and Moses.

I've probably forgotten a bunch, doing this from memory.

    Hunt, Cook, Koro, Mahoney, Grant

Maybe Macca creeps into that group also......or just frustratingly lurks a few points outside it, given that he's in my side.

I'd add To'o to the WFB list. Cleary recovery is sounding positive also...

Burton getting the hlfs gig for a bit longer will be good. I expect the panthers to work a lot harder to get the win without Cleary and Luai. Lots of Kms for Burton

I'm looking at a Tohu to Haas trade in rd18. Expecting Haas to get back to his fantasy best for the run home without Lodge by his side. It will also give me that extra cash to get the other guns (incl Cleary) down the track

West Tigers appear to be a basket case.

And to think my career goal as a young 'un (once my Olympic champion dream finished) was to be CEO for the Tigers.

I'm very sad I sold Burton just before R15. Then again, I may have captained him last week, so swings and roundabouts.

If NRL players can't get serious about covid restrictions comp is going to end up shutting down

Maybe they should just get Storm and Panthers to play now to determine the winner before covid shuts the comp down

When Cleary is back is everyone trading him straight back? Or waiting a week to see that he gets through the game?

Have we pretty much come to the conclusion that Suaalii comes into the starting lineup now (Number 21 theory confirmed by Robbo)? Think I need to grab him this week so hoping that’s what is going on
