Hey DT, hope you're well. Have been using your site for a couple of multis I've placed, just wanted to say thanks for the info. Just a question I had, do you think there's a bit of value on the Titans making the top 8 @ $8 on SB? Bit of a punt, but might be worth a go!

You're banking on 3 different results there and points difference to be over turned. I'd be looking at what a three game multi would come out to. You're backing Roosters, Storm and Titans with a decent margin on either Storm/Sharks and Titans/Warriors

Cheers mate, appreciate the feedback! I'm not the best overall punter so won't weigh in too much mate but I think as mentioned previously it seems like a longshot tbh. Good luck if you do get on though!

**NRL Round 25 Tryscorer Value Plays**
With all the team changes and general chaos this round, feeling confident we can nail a couple of big odds value plays this round before the finals kick off! As always, check out our odds comparison + model tryscorer odds on the Edge portal on the sporttechdaily site & put your own suggestions in the comments!
First Try Scorer
Josh Curran, 51. Bet365. They've mispriced him the last couple of weeks, almost twice the odds as he is on other sites + has been in great form. Up against the Titans in what should be a high scoring game.
Ethan Bullemor, 81. Bet365. Absolutely love his running style for tryscorer markets. He's also scored 3 tries this season - in games when the Broncos have likely been big outsiders & he hasn't played big minutes. He gets a chance to start in a game which will likely be 50/50 by kickoff.
Anytime Try Scorer
Josh Curran 6, Bet365. Similar reasoning to FTS, confident enough in the value to have him in here twice.
Kyle Feldt 2.60, Neds. Already showing up as good value according to our model but if you think Manly may rest their key players late in the game, it becomes even better value. With Holmes & HTF in the team and nothing to lose, think this is a really good play.
Other Try Scorer Plays
Heilum Luki 67, Bet365. Last Try Scorer. Similar reasoning to Feldt. Luki is an extremely impressive player, scoring 3 times in his first 10 games. Including last week, when he came off the bench.
Braden Uele 81 TAB. First 2nd Half Try Scorer. Uele's one of our all time favourite players to bet on for try scorer markets. Has a Josh Papalii like strike rate without the hype of being an Origin player etc. Up against what could be a relatively weak Storm bench pack.
Erin Clark 101 Neds. First 2nd Half Try Scorer. This is more a numbers play, considering he's around half the price on other bookies. Good young player who should get a lot of attacking opportunities against the Warriors. 101 is a great price for him when he'll be fresh after HT.

Just missed out on NRL PICK'EM last week at the final hurdle having picked The Panthers 19+ which I thought should of been a lock.

**Thursday Night NRL Value Plays**
https://edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl
As always, let us know what other value try scorer plays you like in the comments! Check out the Edge portal on the sporttechdaily site to find the best odds across 6 bookies on your favourite players or play around with our data to find the best value plays yourself!
First Try Scorer
Drew Hutchison 36 SB. On the Roosters left edge up against Matt Frawley, I think it's a great match up and he's showing up as one of the best value plays according to our model too.
Hudson Young 34 SB. Great value according to our model, way better odds on SB than other bookies & has been in good form for the Raiders.
Anytime Try Scorer
Jordan Rapana 1.98 Topsport. Playing on the left wing where the Raiders have had some success on in recent times. He's showing up as a good value play according to the model already and with the Roosters potentially resting players late in the game I think this is a great value play tonight.
Josh Papalii 6 SB. One of the best all time try scorers to wear the number 8/10 jersey, the Raiders will be desperate for Papalii to step up tonight if they're to have any shot at a top 8 spot. If you convert his career strike rate to betting odds it'd be 4.67, so the $6 in a must win game against a (potentially) weaker Roosters pack with one of JWH/SST rested or playing less mins on top of their injuries is a great value play.

**NRL Friday Night Value Try Scorer Plays**
https://edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl
We usually only look at first try scorer or anytime try scorer markets, but this is the perfect round to look into first try scorer second half or last try scorer markets. With teams having weaker bench forwards, FTS 2nd Half markets could have some great value and last try scorer markets could be juicy too with stronger teams potentially resting their guns late in the game.
As always, check out the Edge portal on the sporttechdaily site & put your own value tips in the comments!
Braden Uele 81 TAB - First Try Scorer 2nd Half. Gun try scoring rate throughout his career. Could be up against some rookie Storm forwards & $81 is a really good price for him.
Sione Katoa 12 Last Try Scorer Pointsbet. $12 is a great price for him for FTS according to our model, but I'm suggesting take this as a LTS bet given the Storm SHOULD rest some of their stars late in the game & the Sharks need to win this game.
Matt Burton 2.15 Anytime Tryscorer Neds. Showing up as a great value pick according to our model & with this dominant Panthers team at full strength up against a 2nd string Eels team, the 2.15 sounds like a ridiculously good value play.
Viliame Kikau 14 Pointsbet First Try Scorer. Quick note - this may become a tip for FTS 2nd half if he's benched an hour before the game like in previous weeks. In excellent form, was dominant last week & up against a weak Eels team. Model loves it too.

Cleary last try scorer is the play. I fucking love him for it. He's done it for me so often. I'll kiss the man's hand if I ever meet him.

Haha thanks mate, have been getting into tryscorer betting more seriously for a few years now, especially since starting sporttechdaily in early 2020. Keen to get this thread going for the summer as well!

Oh mate 100% I got on FTS 2nd half thinking he wouldn't be on the field late, but if I'd remembere his ridiculous LTS record I would have got on for fun. Nice work getting on!
The below screenshot is from BEFORE last night's game. If you include last night's game it'd be 6 times in 41 he's scored the last try from Round 1 2020..

Last Super Saturday for 2021! We've got some good momentum from Cleary & Burton last night but really hoping to hit a big odds value play today. As always, check out the edge portal on the sporttechdaily site to go through and find your own value plays & put them in the comments on here!
https://edge.sporttechdaily.com/nrl
Broncos v Knights
First Try Scorer - Connor Watson, 67 TAB
Anytime Try Scorer - Anthony Milford 4 SB
Sea Eagles v Cowboys
Last Try Scorer Heilum Luki 67 Bet365
Anytime Try Scorer Ben Condon 9 Bet365
Anytime Tryscorer Kyle Feldt 2.60 Neds
Dragons v Rabbitohs
First Try Scorer Mikaele Ravalawa 10 SB
Reasoning:
Condon & Luki - great value according to our models, way higher odds than other sites + have shown their try scoring ability already in 2021 as rookies.
Ravalawa - model absolutely loves this bet & against a second string Rabbitohs side, can definitely understand why.
Watson - way higher odds than other sites, needs to step up for a Knights team who have rested a few experienced players in their pack. Great running style for try scorer markets.
Milford - good value according to our model, last game for the Broncos - he's been in good form and will be looking to end on a high!
