    For Cleary's inevitable early return

    What was Koroisau's prognosis last year, and how many weeks did he actually miss?

    Eels bench is the same as R14 and similar to R15 where Matto played reduced minutes. R16 he played bigger mins, and Niukore started prop with Paulo coming off the bench. Please no Brad Arthur don't do this :'(

    Dttragic2016 wrote:Watched most of the T20s so far as they're at 930am - the Aussie team's approach just seems off. They're still treating it as if it's a shorter ODI. T20 has developed so much in the last 5 or so years - you can see it in the way England play their shorter form cricket. WI obviously have always been suited to it. WI to hit more sixes has been around $1.30-1.70 for the 3 games so far, SB have had it closer to 1.70, if you see it there it's an amazing bet. They've won the 6s count in all 8 T20s (5 in the recent SA series, 3 games in this one).

    Cricket talk at 4pm TLT is highly controversial but here goes...

    I know people like to shit on T20, but it's a different and intricate game to the other forms now with some very specialised tactics. You can't drift like in tests and every ball counts. Matchups and specialist roles are critical.

    They almost need a specialist Aus team (players, coaches, selectors) that plays together regularly in the format, and is otherwise playing in T20 leagues around the world. Would be very few Test/ODI players that make this side ever. Which is pretty much what the WI team does now, for economic reasons.

    For example, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood being in the Aus T20 is nonsense. Dan Christian getting a swansong now when he's over the hill but basically being ignored for the last 7 years when he was one of the best late innings hitters and 5th/6th bowlers in the world is nonsense. Shaun Marsh getting approx. 741289217 Test recalls but being pretty much ignored in T20 is nonsense.

    I'd be surprised if Moses backs up, personally. Probably Jacob Arthur straight in. If Moses does play then possibly they bring in Smith as cover on the bench?

    Not sure why anyone is annoyed with Tohu being back in the 21?

    Wasn't the verdict always 2-4 weeks? NRL Physio said "initial expectations of a grade 2-3 AC joint sprain. Usual return to play range 2-4 weeks", then the only 'official' word we got from the club was 'back in a month or so' from Gould.

    If he plays next week against the Bunnies, it'd be 22 days from first injuring it, so bang in the middle of 2-4 weeks, or maybe a week early if you took Gould's word instead.

    Anyway, touch wood it might be a pretty straightforward week for my team. 20 green dots + Tohu, before any resting shenanigans.

    My initial plan was going to be

    Hynes -> Turbo
    Matto/Lucy -> Murray

    That first one can wait till next week now with Hynes hanging around, so just need to decide who to sell out of Matto or Lucy.

    You think Turbo will back up 2 days later?

    Dragons bans are Dufty, Fui and Ellis this week.

    Which seems like they aren't (or aren't allowed) to game the system at all.

    No, will most likely hold off on that first trade til next week. Hynes can stick around as long as he's starting.

    Suaalii and Albert Kelly need to exit my team but I think anyone I want will be backing up from Origin, if they play. Hoping I can field 17 this week and worry about it next week, but my WFB concerns me greatly, with Teddy and Turbo both there.

    Do humans think that if Broncos lose to Tigers this week, that Kelly comes back in next week for Croft? Just not sure if it's worth waiting and seeing...

    SST out too. Suaali in the 21 so maybe he did indeed stay in NSW.

    SST out is a real problem fark

    Thought Kelly would be back this week too, bizarre for him to not come back in as he was a bright spot before injury. Unless he is still injured

    I'm going to be up against it this week
