Ha! NSW win and Brandy salty AF. Didn't see much wrong in what Kent was asking. Didn't find it aggressive at all.

Yeah agreed mate. Brandy got so defensive and took it to heart.

Reading on imdb, bahahahaha!:
Tennis player Novak Djokovic filmed a cameo for the airport shootout for free. However his scene, which involved him beating down terrorists with his racket, was cut.

I only saw bits and pieces but I thought Brandy handled himself well.
Paul was just being the typical Kent that he is with his relentless and deliberately antagonistic questioning; but unlike the poor players/coaches who usually have to just cop it so they don't get further targeted by Kent and his media buddy's - Brandy rightly called him out on it.
Did Kent actually think Brandy was going to say shit like:
"Yeah, to be honest, we should have picked Walker and Reyno"
or
"Yeah we only picked Moses because Freddy wanted him in the team"
or
"Yeah we directed Wighton to not worry about passing the ball"
He genuinely must think Brandy is an absolute simpleton.
The NRL really should pull this bloke (and Hooper) into line - given they are absolutely benefiting, to the detriment of the NRL product.

Also they'll repeat that show on Fox League many times in the next 24 hours.
Just watched it. Well that was awkward AF. Brandy definitely on the defensive, but in fairness seemed like part of the problem was the video link. Kent's questioning didn't seem anymore Kenty ( ) than usual. And he at least acknowledged Qld's pressure in defence. But, yeah Brandy's not going to come out and throw his halves under the bus is he?
Both our primary props, Hunt at hooker and Ponga made a world of difference, sucks when half your spine is missing hey? Indeed the depth of NSW is better. But give us our main guys, fill out the squad with big hearts and the Qld spirit does the rest. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, I watched it too and don't know the history/rapport between the two dudes. Brandy was defensive but I could sympathise with his situation, where it seemed like Captain Hindsight was stepping into the arena with what could and should have been done after the fact. I can understand being irritated with the line of questioning, whether it was purposefully instigative or not.
Anyway, I was absent from the forum last night so not sure of the consensus on the game. I actually thought it was the most entertaining game of the series by a long way (I fell asleep with 20min to go in game 2) and yeah, I would have loved to see the result go the other way, but I never actually thought it would so it wasn't a surprise. I just enjoyed the good contest, though the hollowness of the QLD match win mixed in with the hollowness of the NSW series win, as always in these scenarios, makes for a pretty dire end to the series, in my eyes anyway.

I reckon that's a pretty good take. Journos like putting the boot in with the aid of hindsight. Also agree was a very entertaining game. High quality goal line defence on both sides for the most part. I found myself off my chair half the time. Haven't had too much of that this year.

It's amazing how that works as I thought that the game was horrible and my friend circle thought it was one of the worst origin games we've seen.

chambers couldn't get on the flight with storm. Unknown when he'll be available again via the DT

Unbelievable. Surely the nrl and cronulla can find a way for a player to get here.
Gonna need Chambers too for when Bird is out...yikes

can't see them chartering a flight for one person. I think lomax and Alvaro stuck in Sydney now too. they were meant to fly up with partners of other players but apparently the partners can't go up now
Pondering if I trade chambers or just use him as a loop going forward

Rank the cashouts? I'm looking for one at 260k or less to replace Suaalii with as 20th/21st man (the money will be crucial since I'm hoping to trade Hynes to Fifita next week), and I've narrowed it down to three.
Thoughts?
* Rocco Berry - Available at WFB, a position I don't have a huge amount of depth in, plus he might get CTR dual since he's played centre in all his games this year I think. Also he's the cheapest of the three at 245k, and every dollar is critical, but Aitken could easily push him out of the team.
* Kobe Hetherington - Available at HOK only which isn't super useful, but he passes the eye test and looks to have got that lock role on merit, though could get pushed back to the bench when TPJ gets back. He does cost a bit more than Berry, at 255k.
* Braydon Trindall - Available at HLF which I have loads of depth in, but is goal kicking while he's starting at 7, and once Moylan's back, he'd be a nice handcuff for SJ if anything were to happen to him. He's the most expensive of the three at 257k though.

Different strokes I guess. Nothing wrong with it. It just felt like an imitation Origin to me. Like even when we got the shield I was pretty meh in person. Perhaps because of covid shifting it around and around. Thought the game itself was just played at a sub standard.
God I wish Tommy dummied though!

Being at the game is of course different from being at home, but the atmosphere at the game was amazing. Lots of cheering and chanting, haven't been to a game that loud before. The goal line defence from both teams was so damn impressive, I thought it was a great game and thought both teams played well. Also watched it mostly sober (weird AF but I think I got drunk off the atmosphere).
