That said, my carefactor.. pretty low. Pangai wasn't staying around anyway and I'm kind of excited to see him play in a top side.
It doesn't really bother me either, but I do think it's creates a strange value anomaly with the way they apply the cap/market rate proportion.
The players salary/value is naturally distributed across the year (appropriate to how they'd be paid), but when nearly half the year is off-season it means the late player transfers only need to be paid a 1/6th of their salary to play 1/3rd of the season - that makes a fair difference for premium players - but I guess it is what it is.
