A decent Cleary kitty for when he comes back?  Plus enough to upgrade at hooker eg to Mahoney?  No centre back-up for when Bird gets suspended though...

Brailey to Mahoney is the only trade I can see.

Bariley to Mahoney

Maybe a CTR trade in for Bird, depending on team lists, but might be easier to just skip the week.

I'd be happy with Brailey to Mahoney.

I think the discussion this week will be more around who to leave out of the 17.

Suaalii, Fogarty + two of Johnson, Savage, Verrills... would loop Savage and Johson and leave Verrills out personally.

Anyone else we'd leave out?

Mahoney looks a solid trade-in.. Cue disaster.

I was thinking Foggy out. I see he's been cleared of a fracture though and likely only missing this week.

I'm still clinging onto the Brailey hope.. Not sure I've traded out a fit 58 average before, but down to ~43 last 7. Pearce and Ponga injured again, so might be false hope.

EDIT: Just saw Savage is gone for the season in addition to Suaalii. Foggy missing 1, potentially 2? Leaves only Verrills as 18th man if trading Brailey to Mahoney.

Amazing how quickly that good depth disappears.  Verrills as 17th man is not ideal.

I tend to agree there's more value in trading out a red dot than a green dot at this stage, although personally I'm not sold on getting rid of Moses.  But with Fogarty seeming more likely to return quicker and Brailey playing this week, he probably makes the most sense...

Just a reminder too, we are still looking to bring Cleary back once named.  Hynes - with Papy now hovering - is probably the best trade out candidate.  At current prices, the gap is $466k (current bank is $653k)

I like Moses to Mahoney

If we want another trade, I'd say DCE in (for Brailey) but might be worth just waiting a week and saving the trades to deal with any more potential carnage

Won't be popular, but Moses/Suaalii to Mahoney/DCE would be my tip, to mix it up a bit.

Admittedly makes Cleary's return a pretty tall mountain to climb, but provides a sweet team until that needs to happen.

Hynes and Johnson or Fog could become Cleary and a cheap CTR/WFB next week?
