When teams are penalised for running behind a lead runner who interferes with a defensive line it's a penalty because the lead runner got "involved" despite not touching the ball.mattnz wrote:

You don't need to touch the ball to be offside, you just need to within 10m of the play.

Great game. Well played Raiders, but Rapana is a dead-set prick.
May not have been a shoulder charge, but was a dirty hit regardless.
Eels players should have just come through and smashed him.

Honestly, Raiders deserved to win despite the bad call at the end. Two bad calls have cancelled each other out it seems.
