Early Mail: Skipper Jamal Fogarty is a chance to come into the halves after he was named in the reserves possibly at the expense of Ash Taylor given rookie Toby Sexton’s eye-catching debut against the Dragons. “The aim is to integrate him into skills throughout the week and we will look at incorporating contact work at the back end of the week which will determine his availability,” Titans high-performance manager Klint Hoare said of Fogarty.

Would seem a long to come in based on this you would think if they are just starting contact late in the week, but I would know nothing really.

Does anyone else think its abusrd that players can't go on a verandah?

Have we not shown that social distancing works to stop the spread from a range of 1m or more?

Who is James Roberts spreading it to on that verndah? These guys are being treated like they are in maximum security prison.

    From a Stuff article:

"In some more positive news, Brown confirmed Chanel Harris-Tavita was due back and possibly as soon as next week.

Powerhouse prop Addin Fonua-Blake was also likely to return next week and Wayde Egan (shoulder), Rocco Berry (hamstring), Chad Townsend (shoulder) would all return before the end of the season."

Casualty ward also updated to R21. Hold.

With AFB a hold, is Macca to Cook worth it? Clune on the bench again has me spooked. Only leaves a 7k buffer to upgrade Hynes to Cleary next week though.

Can anyone guess if 165K would be enough to turn Hynes into Turbo next week!?

Was going to go Hethro but if I go Blore instead and DCE, I'd have 165K left which I'm thinking based on BE's SHOULD be enough. I mean, 114K difference this week between the two, surely 51K at their prices would be more than enough swing? Even with a 30 from Hynes and a 70 from Turbo, from MTB's site means there would be around 156K difference. Shit, might be tight considering their opposition also.

There are a bunch of photos of the players/families passing things between balconies.
However I also agree like any situation surely dispensation should be allowed for those who are struggling mentally.

Its a QLD govt thing and yeah, its ridiculous.

I can understand why passing stuff across balconies is a no no but its gone too far

It does seem like the best place to catch covid is in a quarantine hotel.

Probably safer to be outside on the verandah tbh

That is great news!!! Happy to hold AFB for the week. SJ to Ponga, sorry Pappy Sad

I am wondering if I grab DCE now instead of waiting on Cleary

Just worried that a 7k buffer for Hynes to Cleary isn't enough. Especially against the Panthers with Pap lurking. Might give it a week and see how Grant goes, or get Koro for a bit cheaper.

I was pretty set on Ponga over Doueihi until I looked at the Tigers run home: Warriors, Bulldogs, Cowboys, Sharks, Panthers, Bulldogs.

Ponga also has Broncs x2, Titans, Dogs, Sharks after this week.

The extra 20k saved on Doueihi should give me more of a buffer to get Cleary, and I hadn't realised he's averaging 61 at five-eighth this year. Both tempring.

I can't see Hynes not dropping 7K mate.

I am flirting with the idea of trading SJ + Macca > DCE + Ponga this week and then Hynes + Burton > Cleary + cheap CTR around 360K for cover as I wouldn’t have any… thinking Tualagi or HSS if he sticks around.

    Thoughts?

Might go Cook instead of DCE who can score similar for much cheaper and allow me to get a premium CTR with the HYNES/BURTON trade for the run home!

    DEAL DONE!!! LESSSGOOO

1 Trade for the run home... PFFTTT who cares

EDIT EDIT::: Just realised I don’t need to double trade next week… I can go Hynes > Cleary in the 1 trade and have 2 trades for the run home.

More trying to get my own thoughts out and get my head around the permutations, but if anyone wants to help out that would be appreciated.

Ideally, I want my next 3 trades to be (in some order)

    IN: Ponga, Cleary, Cook
    OUT: Hynes, SJ, Macca

To make that happen, I either have to:

    a) Macca to Cook this week, wait for Ponga to drop a little more cash. Means playing Schoupp with Burton at HLF.

    b) Macca to Cook + SJ to Ponga this week, Hynes HLF, Ponga WFB. Only leaves a 7k buffer to guarantee Hynes to Cleary in one trade.

    c) Just SJ to Ponga, hold Macca this week. If he's not playing 80 again, should still have enough cash to trade to Grant or Koro.

    d) SJ to Doueihi, Macca to Cook this week. 30k buffer to straight swap Hynes to Cleary.

There are probably more that I can't figure out. C or D probably seem most sensible I think?
