    I've traded in and captained Cleary. Burton is 18th man

    Either he plays and I get (C)leary or he doesn't and I get Burton's half score

    I've gone CHN to Cleary but have decided to leave the C off this week. I can reverse if CHN ends up starting or if Cleary doesn't survive the 24hr cull (30 min before raiders kick off) Gives me extra time to decide whether CHN goes or someone else like fogarty.

    I am going to go Munster...the rationale being that he had a rest last week and he might be quite Poddy (better actually check that)

    Also have AD already

    He's tempting, but the fact he hasn't played a last round game since 2017 has me spooked. Wouldn't be surprised to see a C team in R25 like last year.

    I can't imagine he has the stamina for it. Could get a lot of run metres and tackle breaks from kick returns, maybe some assists in attack though.

    I tonight the same about Rapana tbf

    Really depends how Bird gets involved in attack and whether it’s mostly to setup attacking plays or to crab 15m slapping everyone.

    I think I’d prefer he stays on the edge

    Juggling up who to trade out for Murray between CHN and Fog. Two trades left

    Anyone wanting to influence me?

    Pretty sure Bellamy did that a few years back and they lost momentum....he said afterwards that he learned from that and would only rest individual players strategically

    I'm backing Munster to not get rested again but I don't have any special insight, hopefully he gets a banner this week and makes it a moot point

    R20 last year they played essentially a C team and still won the comp. I know it was a little different with no byes and all that, but I wouldn't bet against it happening again.

    Could Ricky just be trying to put a rocket up CHN? I mean, he's started every game since round 7 and was their best player three games ago and then close to their best again the next week. Ricky seems to love a kneejerk trade more than we do!

    From Fox;

    Early Mail: Matt Moylan has been named in the reserves as he plots a return from a calf injury and is a strong chance of coming into the halves. Braydon Trindall would likely be the unlucky man that drops back to the bench to make room for him.

    Surely not?

    Found this too re Fog;

    There’s still a chance that co-captain Jamal Fogarty will take the field, despite a few lingering concerns over his finger injury.

    https://www.mygc.com.au/key-gold-coast-titans-players-to-return-for-cowboys-clash/

    I'm pretty sure there's no merit behind the site posting this.

    EDIT:

    Yeah, scrap that;

    https://www.nrl.com/news/2021/08/02/titans-outclass-bulldogs-to-climb-into-top-eight/

    "He'll be fit, I'm not too sure (if he'll play)," Holbrook said.

    "I'm really happy with the way Toby's played, I'll have to have a think about that."

    My team:

    653k itb and 2 trades

    Mahoney
    Haas Papali'i Crichton
    CHN Fifita
    Doueihi DCE
    Burton Bird
    Tedesco Walsh Trbojevic

    Taumalolo Schuster Croker Fogarty
    Blore Peachey Hetherington Verrills

    First thoughts were Fogarty -> Cleary but Cleary isn't certain to be back

    Will put Schuster at EDG and loop CHN and Blore

    any advice?

    I'll obviously sit out but if you need any help mate behind the scenes with anything, I'm keen to help with whatever you need.

    I'd be stunned if they run Tracey and Moylan in the halves. Seems more likely to sloppy journalism than what might happen.

    I guess to give others a shot if they wanted to as I was so heavily involved last year. I guess we'll see when the time comes though if there are no restrictions.
