NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 84 - I got 99 problems, and a lack of trades is one of them

I'll probably be getting rid of Angus for Murray depending on what happens with his charge. Could be a bad move with only 2 trades left but I'd rather make a solid push for the top 100.
Would leave me with 1 trade/264k  but a team I think is good enough to keep climbIng ranks.

Hold Mahoney I think - then trade if someone in a critical position has a 1-2 week injury in the next couple weeks

I think its 3 weeks if he takes the plea. I think its already a low grading and the length is more due to priors, so I reckon they won't contest

I have cheese, Burton, CHN and hynes. All good players, all very much dependent on minutes and position, probably won’t sell any of them. However need to pick 1 each week for the lottery. Obviously I didn’t play Burton this week because I’m an idiot and got drunk before the game and couldn’t/forgot to do it, in line with all the advice received here.

I took Staggs, so have no CTR cover if burton or bird go down.

I will have to just keep 1 trade for the rest of the year to cover my least favourite position.

Tempted to grab Lomax now TBH.

I've got Thompson and Lodge sitting on my bench, both back in round 24.
For the next couple rounds I'll be running with a few questionable bench players.
I'll be getting Cleary this week for Hynes, and was hoping to pick up Papy. But I'm expecting Bellamy to continue with his Hynes/Papy experiment for a few more weeks with their winning streak continuing.

Ah okay. I think in my situation, using my final trade on him makes sense. Murray will be out of reach if I don't get him now for Angus. I'll see how team lists play out though.

Crichton to Murray makes sense assuming he's gone for the year.

Question is, is it worth using my final trade on Watson to Grant? Or too much of a luxury trading a green dot. Feels like a good points upgrade, but not sure it's worth the risk.

Grant is a gun but if hes only playing 60 mins you run the risk of high 30s/low 40s scores if he has a somewhat quiet game

I wouldn't.

Fitzgibbon did his shoulder on weekend, which means Barnett could be back to the edge, which means Watson playing behind Sue, which theoretically is good for his minutes and points.

Ah I missed the Fitzgibbon news, will hold Watson then. In that case I could spend my bank on Crichton to Hughes instead of Murray, don't necessarily need the cover.

How many points do you think Watson to Grant will get you?

How many points might you lose if you get a player injured/suspended this weekend and have no trades left to cover them?
