Form, momentum, confidence, combinations are all a thing. Otherwise teams wouldn't do pre-seasons at all (injury risk). He will play when he can play IMO.

For people like me who have Crichton, no Cleary and limited trades

Do you bring Cleary in this week anyway and hope. Or trade in someone like DCE and start death riding Cleary for any week he does play.

I did that last week. Can't say it's been fun so far. Cleary named at 21 again isn't giving much confidence.

Same strategy for me this week. Cleary as captain, Burton at 18. If Cleary doesn't play I get Burton's half score. If Cleary does play I can bank him as captain

Strategy relies on having more than 17 players

I'd go DCE and just keep hoping that Penriff don't play Cleary for another week or two.

Matt Moylan remains unavailable due to a calf injury, as is Royce Hunt who returned to Sydney last weekend for the birth of his first child. Teig Wilton has a hamstring strain and was another not considered for selection.
