so how many more off-seasons of the nibs giving free-agents blank cheques until the nibs realize Nathan Brown's big head is worse at coaching than Wayne's little head?

jokes wooshing over heads aside, there was an actual question in there - 3 years running now, the nibs have turned over half their roster, the last 2 they've been tipped to make the 8 in the pre-season, if they fail again this year, how much more rope can they give him? fair enough getting the benifit of the doubt when he was overseeing a bunch of no-names and young kids doing their best, but if there's current/former representative experience all over the current roster (and there is) and all he has to show for 4 years of work is 2 wooden spoons, surely the question has to be asked.

Newcastle are the worst team in the comp at the moment. Again.
Browny is great a putting together a roster but he may need someone to come in and do the actual coaching and gameplan.

They are deadset terrible. Pearce has been shocking this year too.

Far Out Knights. Great recruitment over the off season and good round 1 but it appears complacency has crept it. Browny is certainly under pressure now and if he can't turn it around he won't see the season out.

I know they're very different roles, but need similar traits for success. Vision, a football brain, gift of the gab, motivational. I don't understand how you can build a roster of this quality and instill the confidence in players and share your vision and come to a struggling side and not be able to coach them.

Excellent roster that he has basically hand picked. Seems like a good bunch of blokes, good mix of experience and youth. The defence is good for the most part but the attack is terrible.

Its almost as if they spent the entire offseason training with their best attacking players out of position...

Watson is a 14 at best, looked to have a bit of spark in patches when playing at hooker.
Lino... good god... how does he get a gig? How to we sign him and let both Cogger AND Lamb go....either would be doing a better job than him right now. I wouldnt mind seeing Mann get a start at 6. He couldnt be any worse than Lino.. or pearce at this stage too.

Still some odd selections in the forwards too.

We just look absolutely clueless. Our defense in the middle has been shocking. Levi isn't good enough either. We've got problems in two key positions the 6 and the 9. Until that's fixed we won't be doing a damn thing again this year.

Its no different to our last 10 years or so mate, its the donkey fans I would be looking for.

It is disappointing though, we have a great roster but just simple mistakes fuck us. If connor watson catches the ball at the start of the game he scores and then I have no doubt its a different game.

I still stand by saying brown made odd coaching selections throughout the first few rounds, and still is making them. He has assembled a great roster then uses his players poorly and makes shit selections for the team. I mean fuck, when has James Gavet been a starting quality first grade front rower?? If I am selecting the side I am making quite a few changes.

They spent the entire off season with ponga at 6 and its fucked up their attack. They are now trying to figure out how to go back to how it worked last year with him at 1, but they are struggling. The didnt spend time working out options or working out how to get him over to the right hand side of the field. We have ramien over there who is a fucking tank and needs early ball but he doesnt get any. Even selections like Matutia / Glasby starting over blokes like Guerra and Barnett was odd.

6 is an issue, but its worth giving the young bloke a crack considering Watson is no good there and line is worse.
9 is a bigger issue, fucking sign Segy. Ross retired, use his money. Levi is not a first grade standard hooker.

These are things we knew before the start of the season but were not addressed. Brown recurited some names but never address our biggest needs - hooker and 6.

I would fucking LOVE for us to bring sheens in as coach and either shift Brown to the footy manager role or whatever, or sack him all together and bring sheens or toovey on as head coach. The cattle is there for the most part but fark me in 2 crucial positions we are just about the worst in comp.

Give Mann a crack at 6, he cant be any worse than watson or lino.

I feel your pain and frustration, I'm a Tigers supporter. Remember we were comp favourites in 2012 and didn't even make the semis's.
