Verrills gets 48. Roberts is reported to be a late in tomorrow so I can't loop the score.

Excep they did have a play the ball. Troops lost the ball, went to ground, a wrestle between Copley and Mead with the ball given to Copley and the Roosters. Ball was played (poorly). So there's that...
Yeah, they were completely making it up as they were going along there. And if the Roosters have a clean play the ball then they don't get the penalty and maybe don't win the game, so in a way are rewarded for their own mistake. (But it should have been a penalty in the first place.)

Would be funny as
Given I own all of those players, I'd be okay with that. Especially considering the alterative of taking CHNs 15. Obviously as a Cleary captainer, I won't say no to a hefty upgrade.

I’ve run the numbers on my TI-84 Plus CE and I can confirm that this is accurate.my tv broke wrote:

Don't make contact with his leg. Jump up and block it from going in. Put pressure on. Don't dive. So many ways. If he's not kicking a field goal are we even talking about it? Diving like that at a normal kick in play and it's a penalty every single time. I'm actually shocked that people think it's not a penalty.
Everyone's taught to block a field goal by getting it low before it elevates, not jumping up? Maybe they're teaching dangerous technique, but that's the best way to block the things (or certainly used to be considered so).
I can see Radley maybe misjudged it and got too close to the kicker, but it was marginal and Kelly milked it and hopped straight up after the penalty. I also think you're overstating the dangers of ACL etc, otherwise we'd see ten goalkeeper-inflicted injuries a game in every soccer match.
Maybe misjudged it? Deadset he's nearly snapped his leg. How anyone could defend that is really beyond me.
You cannot dive at a players legs, fullstop. Trying to stop a scoring chance doesn't forgive dangerous technique and doesn't excuse player safety.

Its weird to me that people have an issue with radley being penalised.
Wasnt there a massive blow up about this about 6 years ago.. souths vs dogs on a public holiday?

Had him captain tonight. What he does on the field is pretty fkn crazy, think Braith outlined it at one point where he was literally just everywhere on the field (felt like it at least).
Deserves so much credit, he's carried that depleted Roosters team all year along with JWH.

The Bludgers going shite 10/552 (c)leary. Having to carry CHN (13) & Robati (17) really burns.

I mean most people own them, it’s more that people who may have broken team/used last trade to get Cleary in might have some remorse.
Some decent scores from highly owned players, could be some large scores

I thought he dived at the ball not his legs. Maybe I'm wrong on that and obv there's not much distance between ball and leg in a field goal situation, but that was how I saw it.

Up to 48... I'd be all over that.
Interesting night. Bit bummed I didn't hold off on Cleary for one more week, but it is what it is. Had to be done to negate what could have been. Gave me the opportunity to loop Burton into the mix without needing to play Watson, so grateful for that. Happy with Burton's score, but watching him carve points off it by the second in those last few minutes brought sad moments to my face. But yeah, pretty decent night overall. Good games of footy.

Yeah, no issue with the penalty at all if it was called when it was supposed to be. We don't play rugby, infringements don't carry on for unlimited phases until advantage has been deemed to be taken.
Why we are looking at something just cos Teddy had a whinge is beyond me. Bloke is the new Cam Smith

Another point is that the Roosters don't win that game without Keighran. He's not much of a player but there's nobody else in that team who scores 4/4 with the goalkicks there. They'll have to find a place for him somehow post-season, because Walker/Ted/SST are terrible with the tee.
