Maybe - and this is a longshot - the commentors overplay things?

It was Barrett who said it in the press conference.

Could definitely afford to use one. Would be hard to see Fog scoring well tonight truthfully.

    Cook, Grant, or Curran?

Still can't decide. Head says Cook, but I keep swaying back and forth on the Grant POD play (4% in the top 5000) or riding Curran's form wave and hoping he's iPap 2.0.

Thanks, I think you’re right. I’m going to do a single trade.

I am planning to captain Curran this week. Gets my vote.

Grant has never played 80 minutes for Storm and a hooker is on the bench this week, with Smith due back next week. Not sure that Bellamy even sees him as an 80 min hooker.

Cook has a decent ceiling, but not in Curran's form.

For what it's worth I've gone with Cook and I'm going to resist the urge to change at the last minute given the consequences of my last minute switch to keep CHN rather than Hynes last week Very Happy

But I did switch Hynes for Curran last week so that makes it easier

Look at this glitch in one of my leagues - I beat someone convincingly but they progressed through and I got eliminated, wtf? Haha

highly doubt the storm bench is as listed once the final 17 is named.

Thanks mate, think that's about how is see it too. Cook the 'safer' bet, but he has struggled a little against the big boys this year (37, 47, 50, 47 in games against fellow top 4 teams). I've been burned a couple of times not going the man in form, so Curran is very tempting.

In a more helpful insight I actually chose Curran over Murray last week once I went back and looked at his floor when playing 80....it's pretty impressive and as we have seen he has a decent ceiling

Yeah he's averaging about 65 with a floor of 48 in six 80 minute games this year. Pretty hard to ignore. Think I might be talking myself into him.

No way both Johns and Booth are on it. Think Pene comes in for one
