Thanks mate! Some very good ranks in there! Always see you name on top of the raiders list.

    Finished 34th overall.
    Top raiders comp
And won a decent cash comp, with all winnings donated to menslink.

    Good year.

Finished in 129th, which I'm stoked with. Despite fading from 52nd last week, thanks to final round restings. Snuck into 10th in the FOG which is also pleasing given the form shown by so many on this forum. Well done AI on winning the FOG. And for putting 17 on the park in the final round. And well done to all you other fanatics. A great season.

Finished 3268th,really should have held trades for longer so it’s my own fault. That 26th place finish I had 2 years ago feels a long way away now Sad

Finished 1037th-ish which I’m pretty content with considering I was plodding around 3k for most of the year. Much better than 2020 but still dogshit compared with 20th overall from 2019. Heres to 2022!

678 here pending updates (12 off the magic number). Stoked with that result, would've taken top 10k at the start of the year based on my two other fantasy seasons. This season had some highs - spent two weeks in the top 100 - and lows - subsequently dropping 3k ranks in about as many weeks (thanks Turbo). Definitely would not have enjoyed this season as much as I did without joining this forum - lots of good folks here with a lot of knowledge about the game.

Looking forward to joining the FOG for the first time next year!

Just got back into phone range after a weekend away, forgot I captained Turbo……oh wait 😬

Got around 950 stayed around the same rank. Was Tossing up 3 or four player for my last trade & picked the one who scored 35 (second lowest 65), had three players who got a big rest and way to many knights & warriors. 2021 was not kind to the Aardvarks but as always the forum kept the spirits up and the lols coming.

Finished 329th, which I’m really happy with. Would’ve been higher if I didn’t have Averillo languishing in my emergencies, but oh well. Last year I didn’t even finish in the top 50,000 for overall; it was that bad that I can’t remember the exact rank. It was my first year playing Fantasy and I had no idea what I was doing. Someone used the term “trading card team”, and that was basically mine last year. Big name players who are shit at Fantasy.

I learnt a lot about how to play this year, so I want to say a huge thank you to everyone here for teaching me more about this fantastic game, and talking me into/out of some trades that really helped my team overall. It’s been a bit of a weird year with lockdowns and restrictions all the time, so I’ve really appreciated Fantasy and this place as a distraction and something to look forward to each week.

The worst part was I don’t think I made a trade where I can honestly say that was a terrible move, the problem was not moving on guys that needed to be moved on and then getting stuck short due to injuries/suspensions piling up. Left me short handed for what felt like a month.

And some of the guys I brought in just didn’t kick on and the other options did, Olam obviously the big one but hey nothing I can do about that now

Refused to move on players that were mid tier for the better players because I believed that they were about to go on a run for some reason. Left guys like Ipap, Averillo, Turbo on the table because I thought they were wasted trades at the time.

Thought I bye planned quite well but eased off at the last minute to hold onto some trades. Could have had big numbers and a few less trades and maybe that might have helped but who knows.

Anyway well done to all of those that put up PBs and did well this year. Maybe I’ll join ya on the celebration trail next year.

    Over and out

Glad you stuck it out LB.

Well done to all the Fanatics who cracked the top 1000, this has been the goal of The Bludgers for the past couple of years - 2021, being the salty bitch of a year she has been resulted in a bad fadeout to 4317, lowest end of year rank since my first foray into Fantasy with no knowledge.
2022 will be better. The best advice I can take is to stop bloody sideways trading for the new shiny toy of the week.

    See you all next year.

Dropped around 800 ranks this round, ouch. Finished around 2.5k mark.

I am not sure where my season went wrong. I started with Cleary trading him out and back in as soon as he was back. Traded in Turbo for his first game trading him out for his weeks off and then back in. Got on Hynes and CHN early. I think injuries and suspensions hit me a bit harder than other years. I think I was a little hasty in trading out players this year. Turpin, Smith, Lodge, Averillo, Liddle should have spent longer in my team.

Pre updates I scored 919 this round with just having the 14 players. My rank did suffer a bit dropping from 1200 to 1466. Back in Round 10 I was ranked at 4.8k and back in round 16 I was ranked at 3.5k and at Round 17 I set myself the goal of making the top 1500 so hopefully I’ve achieved that after updates come in. I managed to win my bet with Jax too so I’m stoked, he finished back at a rank of 2.8k so I got him by around 1.3k ranks in the end.

I did get a bit unlucky with lots of players going down but looking back starting the season with Host was a mistake, selling Avo early turned out to be a mistake, wasting 2 trades in Zac Cini was my dumbest move, Cini was my Magoulias of the season before this year I won’t touch Cini again. How I wish I had those 2 trades for the run home that I burnt on the kent! I probably held Pap for too long and sold Watson too early as well.

Looking at the good things I did in the last 10 rounds or so they’d be bringing in Manu, DCE, Ramien, Haumole and Murray these blokes have been awesome for me in the run home.

Well done all you lads some fantastic results in here it’s been a great season and for those that struggled a bit I’m sure you’ll do better next season.

My last 3 years fantasy ranks as follows:

    2019: 599 rank
    2020: 476 rank
    2021: 1466 rank

I think I’ll be in L4 next year but that’s fine. Currently ranked at 58th in the FOG.
