Really hope the Dog's can hit 50, just so there is no illusions about how poor this season has been for the Tigers. Only saving grace is that some teams are worse

Scoring 1110 last week and 1114 this week is a nice run home.

Well lads, I did it. I managed to survive a late season charge from the field and finish in the top 10k (which was start of season goal). Thanks for all the advise and discussion this year, the decisions that fucked me were my own, the decisions where I followed the forum's collective wisdom paid off.
Hope everyone else achieved their goals this year!

Sitting at 465th so it looks like I have got top 500. Pretty happy with how the season finished after a few scares late in the season. Preserving trades turned out to be a decent idea with how everything went down.

1061 from 16 and finished 62nd. A personal best and first time in top 100. Absolutely stoked with that. 2nd in the Cowboys league, pity I'm not a Titans supporter. Well done to the half a dozen or so fanatics ahead of me. And well done to all those who achieved goals or won leagues or prizes. Thanks to everyone for all the fun and good fantasy chat.

This week is probably my finest since the glory days of 2019, with a final score of 1147, a round rank of 637 and an overall rank of 2418.
I went from 10k after round 14 to 5k after round 19 to 3.7k last week, and now up to 2.4k, so safe to say this has been the best end of season run I've ever had, and also I think the first year in which I've had a full 17 in the last round (in fact I had 18 and left out Schoupp).
Shoutout to my greatest trade of all time, selling SJ to Corey Norman in round 19, purely as a way to loop Morgan Harper when he got 88. Norman's come in absolutely clutch for me in this run home and I'm literally the only team in the top 5k that has him
Bring on 2022!

Finished all up at rank 991. A chance I will slip out of the top 1000 with updates so I may take a picture and delete the app.
Stoked if I have finished in the top 1000 without Turbo. I think that's a pretty good achievement.
Great year lads, very sad it's come to an end.

The season was one week too long for me. Dropped nearly 500 places to 866.
Moses and Cheese the only two last from round 1 team. Clearly too much turnover but I gave it a good crack.
Edit- Lol. "Moses and Cheese" sounds like some sort of hipster brew.

Rollercoaster last round with 15, as expected.
Gained about 1000 ranks by 730 Sat… then lost 2800 in the Manly game lol. Regained about 1300 at the last thanks to Avo and Jackson, for a net loss of 500ish. Currently 8022nd, so If Avo could update a little to crack top 8k that would be super.
Disastrous season.
2019 when I literally didn’t know what this was at R1 I finished around 3k (and that was fading), last season just inside the top 1k, so this was a nice reality check. I do think the pool of knowledgeable/serious players had expanded in the last couple of years as well.

Finished rank 1437, can't be too displeased with that given I was late on most key players (Turbo & IPap) and my bye planning was shocking and was sitting around 2000-2500 most of the mid season
Ended up gaining ranks in the last rounds playing 15 (twice) and 16 which is hilarious

This year marked a change from me from being a H2H player to being an overall player. I sacrificed my H2H finals to preserve trades for the finish when usually I would do anything to win my leagues. I think it is mostly because my old work league no longer exists and my mates who did play have mostly dropped off playing Fantasy. So there aren't really any bragging rights to play H2H for now.

I for one am glad to see the end of this year, it was just a series of disappointments one after the other that almost caused me to throw it in. Many times I found myself hovering over the delete account button haha but held in there thanks to the majority of you.
The worst part was I don’t think I made a trade where I can honestly say that was a terrible move, the problem was not moving on guys that needed to be moved on and then getting stuck short due to injuries/suspensions piling up. Left me short handed for what felt like a month.
And some of the guys I brought in just didn’t kick on and the other options did, Olam obviously the big one but hey nothing I can do about that now
Refused to move on players that were mid tier for the better players because I believed that they were about to go on a run for some reason. Left guys like Ipap, Averillo, Turbo on the table because I thought they were wasted trades at the time.
Thought I bye planned quite well but eased off at the last minute to hold onto some trades. Could have had big numbers and a few less trades and maybe that might have helped but who knows.
Anyway well done to all of those that put up PBs and did well this year. Maybe I’ll join ya on the celebration trail next year.
Over and out
