Not making excuses what he said to Maxwell earlier this week got leaked. I don’t have a problem if the blocker is stationary but when they interfere with the defender by bumping them or stepping backwards or sideways then it’s an issue. Penrith do it so much in a game it’s why Cleary has so much time. Like Wayne said and I’ll say it to you go back and watch it yourself and you’ll be out of fingers for how much they do it in a game as they do. Not every club has blockers impeding defenders either.wolfking wrote:

Rabbit, I fear for you. The toll fantasy takes on some of us is stupid enough, but to go back and rewatch a game just to pinpoint where the opposition are getting away with things you deem illegal of a game that really, means nothing at the end of a day, especially with a team that's not going to beat that opposition on their best day anyway is just plain lunacy.
If you do this regularly and waste your time over a fucking football team, a team of players mind you that don't even know you exist or would give two fucks that you do this dumb shit, then you need to re-evaluate things. Sorry but think about the energy you put into your posts. It's great you are a diehard supporter but fuck me mate, get a hobby.

Here we are my epic game day preview
Well here we are what a massive game day this is our biggest game of the year and our biggest moment from the last 4 years. We have to take all we’ve learnt from it and use the hurt to motivate us and use the will to succeed we have to give everything we have tonight. It certainly doesn’t get much bigger a qualifying final where the winner gets the big advantage of a week off going straight through to the prelim and avoiding the Storm side of the draw. We are massive underdogs tonight and that’s how we like it we aren’t expected to do anything. We have to start well tonight that is crucial to have a chance. That starts with holding the ball and our forwards stepping up to give our halves and Cookie the opportunity to do their thing. The last 4-5 times we’ve played Penrith we have lost the forward battle so we need to at least get on even terms with them tonight. Our line speed tonight really must be on and we need to wrestle in the tackle to make sure Penrith don’t have a fast play the ball otherwise we will be in strife. Our discipline also must be on we can’t give away any silly penalties. In attack when we get our chances we cant force the miracle play we have to be patient and roll the ball in and get 6 more tackles make the Panthers do some tough work and suffocate them til we score. Stopping offloads will also be key and putting pressure on Cleary. If Penrith impede our guy or bump us out of the way I’d be falling over and making it blatantly clear.

Looking at Penrith the rivalry is really intense and keeps building. I haven’t liked their sportsmanship of late and they way they snubbed Reyno after last years prelim was so arrogant. They have the wood on us of late and think they’re untouchable and they are so cocky and think they cant be beat so let’s also use that as motivation to knock them off their perch. The way Luai came in with his knees over the top when Mansour was injured was disgraceful as was Cleary laughing when he was down injured. Lets take down Cleary as well but legally of course.
For us to have a shot also tonight I think Murray has to play if not 80mins very close to it. Tatola and Nicholls need to fire early on fighting for every extra metre, Keaon will be fresh after having had the break as should our 8-9 boys who had the weeks break. Penrith will no doubt bait Cody but he needs to not let them get him off his game. I’m expecting Tom to have a big one off the bench with Arrow. In the backs our back 3 must defuse these bombs of Cleary and just generally in the air we must be better. Gagai will be really hungry too I’m expecting a massive game from him and Campbell in the centres. I have faith Reyno can match Cleary kicking game too that’s a big key to winning also put pressure on young Staines and To’o isn’t that good in the air that’s his weakness. That left edge of ours should also target Momo and Staines in general that’s a weak point for them. We all know the threats Penrith have all over the park so I won’t get into that.....

Re the ref tonight at least we don’t have Atkins but if we get some tough calls we can’t let that get to us we need to get it out of our minds right away. Getting a fair go with the ref though will also give us a good chance I feel so hopefully we get that after all the noise Wayne has made.
