Interesting for the game at large if true, although sounds bloody difficult for fantasy with (presumably, given an odd number of teams) a different team having a bye each round.

Haven't been around long enough to know how people used to cope with several bye rounds throughout the year, would certainly make things interesting!

Its more the distribution of talent and mismanagement by clubs that is the issue.

Every sport has a few teams in contention for the title each year and lots of bad teams.
