I also don’t think he plays hard at all, he is a cheap shot merchant. I don’t mind a bit of niggle, like JWH or Hodges, walker is a specialist third man in shirt pulling clown.
JWH not a cheap shot merchant I’ve just fallen off the lounge in laughter thanks mate can’t stop laughing!

Cody did barely any cheap shots all year I could name many more players that have done more than him. But whatever I get it you hate Souths. Trell is a cheap shot merchant but for mine Cody is not. All players run in if there is a bit of a biff to protect their team mate you can’t punch so they all grab jerseys mate they all do it.

I’m not saying my views make sense. I like Latrell.

What's the minimum number of cheap shots you need to not be labelled a grubby cunt?

To be fair that would be a huge get for the Warriors.

Anyone know why Proctor was playing so few minutes at the end of last season, was he playing injured? He was the one to go off when Fifita came on, with Fermor typically playing out the game.

Fermor could be a great pick up next season, but would be surprised if Proctor continues with just a few minutes per game.

I'd say it's just age catching up to him. Fermor and Fifita on the rise while Proctor isn't the player he used to be

Yeah, agree. Proctor got a 1 year extension with the Titans recently, but it sounds like a phasing out to retirement type extension (reading between the lines). I'm anticipating Fermor having a growing role in '22, and the Titans focusing on Fifita's fitness in the offseason to get his quality beyond a 60 minute stint.

The Eels have confirmed re-signing RCG on a 3 year extension rumoured to be worth $2.4mil
Previously he was strongly linked to be a Dolphins signing.

It's an interesting one as those dollars should make it a lot tougher for the Eels to retain the likes of Mahoney, Papali'i, Gutherson, Matterson, Opacic, Niukore and Paulo (as well as upcoming players like Oregan Kaufusi, Makatoa and Haze Dunster).

800 a year for RCG is nonsense*

*obvs journos can say whatever figure they want. Especially in the offseason when they need clicks in between scandals

No doubt you are right (they are actually claiming he's signed for more than $2.4 mil)
Every time I see Brooks mentioned (basically every day) his contract value at the Tigers increases - no doubt next week he will be on over $1mil.

Been following that story - pretty shocking institutional racism by Yorks, right up to the present day. Hopefully singling out individual players like Vaughan isn’t a distraction from the wider changes that need to happen. Vaughan is a blowhard tho

Round 10 looks to be magic round once again. Looking like next season should be able to go ahead without any covid hiccups

It's ingrained in English cricket. You read any of the WI players biographies, ever since the likes of Viv Richards started playing in their domestic league back in the 80's.

Surely November isn't too early to start bye planning?

Lord of the Byes returns in '22 with the R13 playing teams being:
    Titans v Cowboys
    Panthers v Bulldogs
    Sea Eagles v Warriors
    Raiders v Roosters

    and R17 teams being:
    Sharks v Storm
    Knights v Rabbitohs
    Tigers v Eels
    Broncos v Dragons

The best draw reveal of the day goes to the Raiders with their Meme post:

I had to look up what the p-word racial slur was. Apparently it's Paki.. Never knew that it's considered racist and I use it all the time in what I would consider an endearing way (not that I'm a fan of Pakistan as a country, I just like their cricket team).

Shortening/abbreviating words is kind of an Aussie thing.. like Aussie/Australians, Jap/Japanese, Paki/Pakistani.. Compare that with calling Americans Yanks or Brits Poms which is intended as derogatory and that leaves me rather confused.

The racism at Yorkshire runs a lot deeper than that from what I read though. From accusations of players been urinated on (like what the absolute fuck?!) to comments like "there's too many of you lot". Pretty gross.
