    Out of the eliminator

In the end only had 17 players, and relying on Savage and Ilias was always going to be trouble.

Not even opponent having Papy's 12 was going to save me

Scored 1090 and moved 10 spots into 10th. Only got 3 trades left but will use two this week.

Lucky match up for me in eliminator with a set and forget player that didn't move Nanai out from the first game.

Meant I could match players and sneak through with an underwhelming 925.

Will be different story this week.

Even with Cook and Cleary out I had a comfortable win.
Round rank of 127 sees me lining up against a beatable team next round.
Need to figure who to trade in for Pappy. Latrell or To'o are the first that come to mind.

    Cook (Grant)
    Haas Klemmer
    I.Pap, Murray, Lolo (Fermor)
    Cleary, DCE (Munster)
    Garrick, May
    Teddy, Hynes, Manu (Edwards)

Only 2 trades left but im happy with that 17. Not much depth though with only Pole, Hoeter & Saab as active/decent scorers left

Thanks. I started the season terribly and was placed around 2000 overall for the first 3-4 weeks and then started to improve. I peaked at about 280 overall after round 15 and am now at 350ish after losing a lot of ground in round 17. No excuses though, ive made a lot of mistakes but the last 8 or so weeks (outside of round 17) have been good as ive steadily improved my team and the positive move in the rankings has followed. The only really poor move was getting Papi back but obviously that is just bad luck.

Im hoping to finish in the top 200, even top 150 if possible! I think ive got the team i just need a bit of luck to dodge major injuries and such.

Mitchell is pretty much a must-have in this comp huh? Last 3 average over 70 and last 5 over 50...hard to ignore. Might use my last boost to get both him and Cook as I'm sure they're both just going to keep rising in price too fast to keep up with

Pretty much must have if you are chasing points mate. Obviously there is always potential for him to do something dumb on the field, but the punishments seem to be more lenient this season, and it’s a massive what if anyway. He is fitter than ever and the go to player in that team, so it definitely makes sense.

I reckon you might go flying up the rankings with that team and some luck with injuries mate! There will be plenty of teams giving up this time of the season, as well as teams that jumped heaps during the byes, but aren’t set up for a strong week to week on the run home.

Good luck though, and keep me updated with how you are going mate

Yeah im pretty happy with the strength of my team now but still need luck - as does everyone playing. I ended up doing Papi to Latrell instead of Manu which leaves me with 115k in the bank which may come in handy. Coming into the season i focussed more on SC and Fantasy but after poor choices in both (mainly SC) i started to take more time over RDT and have really enjoyed the competition. After 3-4 rounds i was tempted to throw in the towel because of poor selections and the fact that i play the other 2 formats. However, im super glad i didnt because i have really improved my team each week and should finish strongly. I cant wait to play again next season and be in a decent league.

Looks like there is great competition at the top end as shown by the posts in this thread. So yeah, ill definitely keep you posted on my team's progress. How is your team going?

Latrell seems to be the right call given the form he is in and the suspected injury cloud around Manu eh. Which comp do you prefer? I have always preferred DT and only play this one, but I might give SC a go one day.

Yeah a few of the forum guys are going great, White Lightning is in 5th and I’m sure there are others up the pointy end secretly as well? My team is going ok, like yourself I hope to get lucky with injuries and hope that I can hold off the chasing pack until the end pretty much.
