I’m at work haven’t seen the game how has Coates looked has he done any shit work coming out of trouble? Also how have J. King and Grant been.

For Warriors how did Berry, Aitken and Katoa look?

Wait so Paulo is starting in a game where there are literally no other first 17's...? I see where this is going

Some points from my eyes mate.

Coates didn't too too much, but everything looked solid. Nice first try. Will finish many Storm tries this year and Bellamy wrapped him as one of the best performers in preseason. Most interestingly is Cheese looked the goods and could be looking to make 13 his this year and Grant could get more at Hooker, will be interesting to see how much it changes from last year, still hard to tell.

Aitken, Berry and Montoya edge looked really good. First two warriors tries were slick hands from Berry for Montoya to finish, and he tackled really strong all game. Aitken ran and tackled hard carrying on from last year and Katoa the same on the other side, unlucky to not get the ball down for a try where he carried a few to the line. With SJ coming in and one of the other half firming, probably CHT once Walsh is back will give the edges even more holes to hit.

    Berry and Katoa were good.
Berry 2 try assists, the winger outside him will be happy with his service.
Didnt notice Aitken (not much to notice from him).

Anyone know why Ilias isn't playing? I saw that Taaffe was out, but Ilias got named 7 and just no-showed now Hawkins is playing

Commentators said a late decision was made to pull them both and save for them for Community Shield. Apparently no issues

    Ah sweet that's good

Possibly less good for Paulo though, Tass is still injured I think so could mean that Milne is in the frame for left centre? Maybe they wanted to have a look at both of them

If Pap isn't ready round 1 like they suggested is a possibility that's going to be a real fucking annoyance because I'd happily wait a week but a Storm week could easily become 5 or 6.

Cobbo already has one wing, he is competing with Oates on the other wing.

Watched the first 30mins of Brisbane trial thought Kobe looked good actually.

Walters probs still leading the race for the 6.

So could Brenko Lee play centre and Farnworth wing come round 1?

Re Souths I’ve watched it back Paulo got some hospital passes he did make a trysaver though. He’s a bit too casual for my liking not sure he will succeed at centre, though I don’t think he’s great for fantasy. Young Karipani the other centre looked very good he’s in a development contract. Sele showed he’s ahead of Moale for me and I was happy with Shaq Mitchell had some really strong carries.
