Have a feeling Round 1 is building up to be a nightmare this year. At least Cleary is first game but talk of Paps being possibly out is going to be a shock to a lot of people if he's named at 1 and is a late out.
Every chance there are late outs for covid too.

I'm planning to keep more cash in reserve than normal and trying to figure out who plays after the Storm that I'd want to switch into my WFB. Options are.... limited. :/

He did look busy, but checked the scores and didn't translate to fantasy this time. Link man on attack and Newcastle didn't have to defend that much. Only 15 points in nearly a full half.

Decent hit out for my knights. Nice to see a lot of the boys I’ve worked with closely get games. Chris Vea’ila is a legend and has dominated all through juniors.

Broncos fans what are we expecting from carrigan? Averaged 60 in 2020 so has big upside if they will give him the minutes. I think I remember MTB not wanting him to play big minutes though

Not sold but Haven’t seen much talk of Cody Walker. Surely he gets a bump in his kick metres. Could go up a tier on the back of it. Hard to replicate last seasons try assists I guess though

Momoisea played well. Expect him to have a decent role when Barnett is playing?

Any other tips for Knights team?

I have Walker in my team, should be in for a big year.

Does anyone recall who was originally named at 4 for the tigers for the trial match against Manly, before Pauga got the call up?

Edit: All good, remembered it was Roberts

strange though that Pauga (not in the top 30) got the nod ahead of Kei and Junior Tupou

59 fantasy points for King. Top of the over-performers today

    Disappointments:
    Ponga 3
Randall 15 with lots of minutes
    Mann 15
    Daifiti 7
    Frizell 6

Momo played ok... first stint as edge then middle for a second stint. Prob fits in as a bench player when Barnett back but can't see enough upside at BE 24 unless there's an injury and he starts.

King put his hand up for the Dogs but jeez all of their options at 7 (Averillo, Wakeham, Flanagan, BBO) are awful. Can see a lot of chopping and changing with their tough schedule and it's making me second-guess Burton, good as he is. Will have to watch them again next week when hopefully he's playing.

Does Ponga think it's the last 3 weeks of the season already?

The UK is reportedly scrapping self isolation for positive tests in the coming weeks, if that is the case I wouldn't be surprised if Australia (most likely NSW and Vic to begin with) follows suit in about a month or so. Would be good for footy and great for fantasy to not have to worry about teams getting decimated by covid regardless of anybody's individual stance on that policy

That means NZ to follow in 6-12 months, or longer if the protestors are still in Wellington and Ardern continues to be an ass just to spite them.

Does my opinion count? I have 0 inside knowledge

Laurie, Nofo, Gildart and Maumolo will be 4 of them assuming all fit.

Then it would seem Roberts is front runner for the last centre spot but potentially could be anyone.

I've had another look also. He scored basically similar stats in Qcup also. He's an accurate goal kicker, likely to be main general kicker (unless the next trial suggests Brimson to increase a lot in kicking), busy defender and had shown both in Qcup and briefly in the NRL that he is capable of racking up Tries, assists, FDO's, and other stats also. I don't see him averaging any lower than his price and whilst that would be disappointing, scoring at his price would probably be good enough to hold until rd13 where he plays the bye. But on the other hand, there is a lot of upside, he could potentially average 55+ making him suitable long term for the bench. I'm quite keen, but at that price, it will be hard to fit him in. If Pappy is out for rd1 I might bring in Sexton and Push Nicho down to WFB - if Sexton bombs he can become Pappy, if he guns it one of my other dud picks can become Pappy.

I'm thinking the same. If Papy doesn't line up for Rd 1 I'll be giving Toby a shot.
