Yeah never again after SST last season

I predict Collins will ease back slow, work his way into gun level minutes and output, then have his club minutes dialled down during Origin. Then as the Roosters cruise to the finals all 3 mids take turns playing sub-30 mins

Just redid my team yet again, I've gone a bit away from my strict guns and cheapies philosophy.

Clifford could totally be like the Chad in 2021 to start the year, couldn’t he?

So what is the theory behind Clifford being good value?

Kick metres next to Clune compared to Pearce? Consistent goalkicking as well. I ain't that keen though

Looked good in trials, did all the kicking next to Clune, goal kicker. Some, but not all of those goals and kms are factored in. I think a lot of it is he is just starting to show us what he can do, so I guess a gut feel thing to some extent. I think he'll do well. He's also at a price where I keep landing at for my last player. It's an awkward price to be sure. He's been in and out of my team.

This is what I wrote earlier.

"Jake Clifford. At 6, next to Clune. I didn't watch the trail, unsure of the minutes split, but Clune kicked a total of two times for 21 metres (unsure of mins), Clifford played 60 mins and kicked 329 metres. We all know he's got a cannon for a boot. This gives him a base. He is the goalkicker. Is Clifford leading the team? Is Clifford Pearce 2.0?"

Sounds like the musing of someone insane (naturally), but the stats on footystatistics suggests around 8 points of upside. The reason why I like him over Burton is because Clifford seems completely dominant in terms of KM, and goalkicks for a better team. Burton is the better player but also more expensive. Also ever since the newspaper headline in mid 2019 of "Clifford cooks the chooks" when he lifted the cows to beat us i've had stockholme syndrome

Latest draft has no gun half and Schneider and Clifford at half with Ilias in the EMGs. Time to close the tab.

Clifford has 300km and 1.6 goals factored in.

He'd need a nice increase on both to be worthwhile. He's not cheap

I think he will get a nice increase on both. And be the primary playmaker. Hard to quantify why I think so though. Uh, I dunno, the vibe? Yep that's it, the vibe.

I'm contemplating watching it from season one again. Got plenty of time on my hands for next few months.

Yeah man I keep ending up on needing a player for my bench spot that is like under 525k and Clifford seems to be the best option there for sure.

Other notable players around that price is Capewell, Mann, Wilton? That's about it really

Clifford average 51 when playing with Pearce and 49 when playing with Crossland. The biggest shift in his score came from starting to play for the Knights (which will continue) You would imagine he would keep on improving on that when partnering Clune and kicking goals every week. His current average does not account for being the primary goal kicker every week.
