I think I either start with Cleary or don't get him until much later in the year. If I start with him he becomes a great POD. I think he'll be back next week because I don't think he would be 50/50 for this week and then not be able to play next week. But if I don't start with him I don't want to tear my team apart to get him in.

With Cleary out 3 weeks, don't think its worth holding cash in reserve to bring him in.

Just have to name best team you can and deal with Cleary when he returns. Can probably wait a week when he comes back too - check out this shoulder, even best case for Cleary he won't gain too much, and more likely scenario is that price doesn't rise.

Most likely option for me. Going to have a stacked team.

Agreed. Would be a bit "boring" if everyone just had Cleary Round 1, throwing the C on him every week. Obviously it works, but variety is nice.

Will make the Q of "When to buy Cleary" more interesting too.

    Which would you prefer?

    A: Grant (55-65), TPJ (52-57), Arrow (45-52), Jennings (res, 25-30): Estimate 177-204
    B: D Fifita (60-65), Tapine (48-55), Wilton (45-55), Tuilagi (res, 25-40): Estimate 178-215

Feel free to shoot down my estimated scoring!

Grant if he is named followed by Haas. I'd like to have my season done by round 1 thanks.

If the Panthers are saying Cleary will miss at least 3 weeks, then I'm banking on him missing those 3 weeks (despite Panthers Physio etc).

The big game was Round 1 (Sea Eagles) - he's Cleary not playing that one.
Round 2 * 3 are Dragons & Knights - no offence to fans, but they don't need Cleary to win those.

Round 4 is the Rabbitohs - seems a fair target to be back for.

If he doesn't play till R4, I'm not buying him till R5.

Clearyless Panthers makes Turbo attractive for R1. Should get spanked.

Did people think teams were similar when everyone had Cleary?

Just looking at the rate my teams seemed there was a fair amount of variety there

Sydney getting another 150mm of rain today

Meant to ease up tomorrow, but conditions are going to be very wet for Sydney games this weekend.
