Sam Walker and Ilias are my starting halves and haven't really thought twice about it. Have Burton and Hynes in other positions if need be. Way more concerned about HOK MID and EDG

Billy Smith really must have impressed in the pre-season. It could just be a case of Smith + Momo wing is better than Momo + Naiqama.
Am I going insane or does Walker kicking indicate that perhaps Smith stays centre, Suaali slots into wing, and Momo hangs around as backup? He can't be on much more than 350k, and it seems like Smith has re-signed with us endlessly through his injuries.

He’s a terrible mod.
Great administrator though
In fairness, a small box of melted Favourites left in the car boot over Christmas could do a better job then the other 2 Admins-one is AWOL and the other being me.

I think you're understating the amount of accounts that involves!

That makes sense. I suppose the other thing with Smith is that the Roosters must really, really rate him to have stuck by him through all the injuries, they can be pretty brutal if you don't cut the mustard (hi Kyle Flanagan).
However, I thought Smith was a decent goalkicker too? So going with Walker might just mean they think Walker is a good goalkicker now somehow. Or of course it could be bullshit. Has it been confirmed anywhere other than the one Telegraph journo?

Getting closer to kick off
Who is everyone's 22nd player (player on the border of selection but can't fit into draft)? - For me probably Fifita
Who is the player who will tear it up in early games of R1 that has everyone tearing their team apart in R1 unlimited trades to get them in for R2? - not really sure I see anyone that isn't popular, but Whitehead could be potential with lock role
Who will be the low/negative BE trap in R2?

Having Crichton at 18 seems a bit of a waste but he does provide cover for CTR/WFB. Would it be better to just go without CTR/WFB cover on the bench and grab another cashie?
You can probably play Crichton ahead of Russell, and if you ever need WFB cover in later rounds and Panthers play later just swap when that happens

Yeah exactly. I was convinced that he was our future post-morris. Was actually bummed when we signed Momo to be honest. It hasn't been confirmed anywhere else yet.

Dont think I have seen any teams with Turbo. With the uncertainty around Papy, I am tempted. Easy early switch to Cleary when he returns.

Who's everyone's back up plan if Papi is a late out?
Gutho? Moses? Sexton? Burton?

1. Aitken
2. Turbo, Haumole
3. Billy Walters
*Edit* misread question 2, amended answer

Had Turbo. But also had Fifita/Haas/Tedesco and couldn't really get it to work so dropped Turbo.

I’ve since moved Russell out for Starling for some unknown reason. Moving Hynes and grabbing another cheap HLF is an option but Clune and Amone seem to be the only option left and I’m not that keen

He didn't play pre season that I'm aware of. I don't know Roosters players that well but based on owning Suaali last season and forum chatter he could be a lot like these great youth player hopes of EPL team I support, great wraps but never makes it
