Proctor is this years gone 1 season too long, replacing Alex Glenn & Darius from previous seasons.

Honestly I think Hunt is ahead of A Fifita.
Jack Williams probably is too when back from suspension.

3 of those 10 games he started he scored a try and one of them he had 53 tackles for a score of 55, and then the other two that he scored over his BE he ran for 160+ metres; nearly 55 metres above his average from games over 40 minutes. I see where the value can be pulled from but I also see where the opposite argument can be made that maybe he scored a fair chunk of tries for a forward and had a great second half the year. As I said, happy for him to show me wrong, but my beer filled belly tells me to steer clear and a drop to Earth is incoming.
It goes both ways... he also scored 3 tries from his 11 games off the bench playing 38 minutes with an average of 36. Goes to starting prop and lifts to 51 off 52 minutes, with his 3 tries. Hell, of those 10 games at starting prop when he played over 50 minutes (6 occasions) he lifted to an average of 55 with only 1 try. This included almost 36 tackles a game and 125 metres on the ground. Only once in that small sample size did he crack out over 50 tackles.
The thing with Uto is he's 21 years old. Just got his first year of first grade under his belt and has snaked the starting prop position. If he continues to improve, gets over 55 minutes a game he will be a gun. I can easily see him averaging 50-55 this year - IF he gets the minutes. But the tigers are shit so who knows. Its all a calculated risk, but I see his stats saying its worth it far more than the others at his price point...

Had to give up 1 to get wfb cover with paulo so who would you guys give up
Take a punt as to what happens first, and then pick accordingly
Luke Garner starts and Tuilagi to the bench
Schuster starts and Bullemor to the bench

Look from trying to talk myself off him, I may have talked myself into him. Plus looking into that bench there are a lot of minutes for those forwards. Lucy plays 80, Peachey probably spells ofa, Garner probably spells Kelma, leaving Seyfarth and Musgrove to plod along up front. I think both Twal and Uto probably see 55+ minutes a game.
EDIT: Should see a lot of the Storm game played in the middle too.

I downgraded Haas and upgraded HOK in Mahoney. I'm getting funny vibes about DFifi not getting off to a flyer. Just read pondering on SC Talk if he's over rib cartilage injury from All Stars. Having neither Haas or DFifi could be scary.

I keep trying to fit Burton into my ctrs but there are so many cheap ctrs who play for good teams. Plenty of opportunities for them to get attacking stats. Need to stick to my cheap ctr strategy!

I have JDB. His first full pre-season as an assured member of the team in years. Plays big minutes and has some attacking skill in him especially compared to plodders like Woods.
True that. Just looked at Raiders draw and it is only round 2 and not again to round 14. So happy to take that hit. However saying that the NRL are great at regressing on rulings lately, so you know probably all work out in the end.

Best case he guns it like we all know he can
Worst case he's a numpty again and I use one early trade and replace him with Carrigan/Lolo/AFB depending who looks best
Same except if he's a numpty again, there's your Cleary cash.

Is Paulo a legit option to start at WFB? I have Coates there currently, but that doesn't fill me with joy at all tbh

Centres generally have a higher floor and ceiling. Paulo is filling in a position that normally gets a lot of attacking stats and he is a pretty good young playerStuDogg101 wrote:Is Paulo a legit option to start at WFB? I have Coates there currently, but that doesn't fill me with joy at all tbh
