Round 1 makeup Empty Round 1 makeup

    Round 1 makeup R110

Team is selected, overwhelming preference for Teddy + Clark over Haas + Coates - so we do have hooker coverage. Lets hope we don't need it.

The bench and captaincy selections posted above are just suggestions. Vote above to confirm or change those picks
Need to pick a captain, straight forward poll.

    For the bench
pick the 4 players you don't want in the 17 and they become our 18-21
If we leave Stephen Crichton out then he becomes AE for potential Pappy out, but we can't do any looping

As for looping - I am going away this weekend so may not be online in order to enact looping so will have to set it up as if we can't loop, and then treat it as a bonus if we are able to change things last minute

Robelgorodo are you still willing to help out, and would you have time this weekend, I can provide login details if you need.

I didn't make it explicit in the poll - but we can't have both Tago and Penisini out of the team
Crichton is required for WFB (either to play or backup Pappy) so we need to play one of Tago/Penisini

I can help with l**ping if you want to PM me details

Interesting poll results - 19-21 are pretty clear but the last cut is the hardest

What was the make-up in the end? Are we getting either of Critta or Tago's scores?

We have Crichton 18 and Tago 19

Last time I checked the poll Crichton was ahead of Ilias to be omittted. Ilias must have got a late couple of votes. Should probably close poll when final decision was made.

Tago wasn't popular at all and Penisini the clear favourite to play ahead of him

Any interest in going Clark to Grant and downgrading Sexton or Lolo to Coates in order to get Crichton’s 58? We have enough on the bench to reshuffle positions. If we assume Sexton and Lolo both hit 58 then we stand to get Coates or King’s score instead of Clark this week but would arguably have a stronger lineup next week.

I was thinking similarly, but would rather leave in Sexton (value) and Lolo (value, rd 13). I was thinking maybe something like Tedesco (or Pap maybe) to someone like Coates or Cotric (or maybe even W.Smith for 1 round points and cash.....he may play 6 this weekend for the Titans)

Yeah I checked around 715 and Crichton votes were to put at 18. So the Ilias push came late.

Current setup is (bold is locked):

    Randall
    Uto Lolo(vc) Bully
    DFifi(c) Nanai
    Sexton Schneider
    Burton Penisini
    Papy Teddy Hynes

    Clark Mann Tuilagi Ilias
    Crichton Tago MKing AFifi

If Papy is out will get Crichton

    Otherwise it's stuffing around:
    - Clark/TBA to Grant/Coates(?)
    - Teddy or Hynes to Latrell might be simpler

That's just to get Crichton, I feel getting both Panthers CTRs is ripping up the team too much.

Could run a poll later, two parts
    1. do we want to try a switch (yes/no); then
    2. a choice of options if it's yes

My inclination is just take the money this week and leave the points behind.

Might be clouded by the cow being away for the weekend and me being solely responsible for managing the l**p...

I don't think its worth the hassle of making multiple trades just to get 1 score that might give us a slightly better week 1 total.

Yeah, I don't think it's a great idea with the current setup. I've also realised can't afford Hynes -> Mitchell without the 2nd transfer.

Given the collective investment from everyone to make the starting squad, it seems a bit iffy to me to shotgun a quick decision to lock in a 55 from Crichton.

It's a marathon, not a sprint, we should just concentrate on building team value rather than knee-jerk switches to snaffle a few more points this early in.

Although I fully understand it's tempting.

I like the balance of the team. Having Tago in the CTR was great, Critta had 45 points at halftime, and so you can see the variability he has, I think Tago is going to have great base, but when Cleary returns Critta may have more upside.

Hynes got off to a shocker with 14 points after 30 minutes, but he managed a solid 49 without too many attacking stats. That bodes well for the long haul, those are the best 3 FB picks until we can upgrade to Tommy later once his price has settled.

I am interested to see how Ponga goes this year as he will have to carry most of the attack in that team, and when that was the case last season he cranked out some good scores.
