Well yeah, there's that too - people are assuming Watson plays 80. Could just as easily have a spell, they have a utility on the bench. Doubt Lam comes in, the team was named knowing Verrills wasnt going to be there.

Edges both play 80 so don't need to use subs there.

Taaffe is in last I heard, might delegate gk cause of the ankle though. Ilias did a fair bit of kicking with the jersey flegg side that won the comp so I'd assume he's next in line. Walker and Cook both haven't had a shot in about 5 years now so I'd be surprised if either of them got it

Well dropping Tago was the wrong idea. Starting the week off with Crichton and Bullemor is starting out alright but.

Almost had all 3 in 17 but swapped Bully for Josh King

Starling is a bad pick yeah? I’m tempted if he gets 55 minutes a game like he did at the back end of last year but that can’t be expected in a fresh season can it?

I like Amone, just it would take me to 4 halves (not counting Hynes or Burton)

Might still go with him, it comes down to:

Amone + Russell

Vs

Thompson + Coates/Berry

Whichever WFB I choose would be my only WFB backup so just concerned about Russell's job security

So, my initial plan was do not be dumb and waste trades, but I missed Tago and will likely find room for him. Last year I missed a few cows because I was stubborn (and didn't rate them as players). Tago looks good, and plays the first bye...

You wouldn't have to trade necessarily. Hold for a week or two once Verrills is back and see what his bench role is.
