I had stopped tinkering with my team 2,hrs before kick-off on Thursday. Unless there was a major fire I wasn't going to do anything.
Then last night realized Illias is in the team and Schneider and Walters in the EMG.
I would have definitely played Schneider over Ilia's based on the group think here but I wasn't paying attention to my own team. My fault.

Im not sure if im the only one that thinks this, but I love when people dont take ownership of their team and blame others for their choices like they had a gun to their head.

I see Hynes got his offload. Am I the first complainant of the year to receive my dues? This does not bode well for the rest of my year. :-/

Can someone explain the scoring to me?

Haas now is listed as scoring 76 on fantasy. But if you add up the individual categories they've listed (including 8 points for 4 offloads) you get 83 (which should be 91 when the proper score for offloads is given). Where does the 76 come from?

The NRL app has him at 84. MTB has him at 84 too but if I add up the individual categories I get 89.

The run metres and TBs are different between the two sites. Fantasy has a sixagain infringement (-1) and MTB has a PC.

I'm confused. I guess patience that it will all be sorted is the order of the day.

    Haas, but VC.

Ilias not in my 17 next week, but I think he’s a likely hold. Souths can only go up.

Coates over Paulo in the end, see how it looks in a few weeks.

Haha I was going to post on this - what is his score. Guess it all comes out of the wash by Monday morning.

Have to say after doing the right thing nerfing KMs and TBs, these offload points are a joke.

Patience is something we could definitely do with more of.

I’m looking forward to todays games. 6 players on the field and 1 in EMG

Shout out to Tyronne Roberts who was thrown onto the field for the 'championship minutes'. Not even on a contract with the Broncos. An opportunity he would have never expected again. Probably his one and only appearance for the season. Hope he enjoyed a few cold ones post game.

After watching this 5 minute video on SJ on the NRL website. I'm getting cold feet not owning him. He wants to be there, he wants to win.

Edit: I think SJ going large this year. I'm going to wait at least 1 week though. He didn't play a trial, Walsh coming back next week will be better for everyone too. Along with Lodge.

The adding up part is inexplicable but the difference between 76 (fantasy) and 84 (NRL/mtvb) is that fantasy have him as 8 points for offloads, while NRL have the correct 16.

Same with Critta at 55 not 57 because they've scored the offload as 2.

Patience, I suppose. They might have to manually tweak every score if they haven't coded for it.

Edit *Meant to be a reply to Mulvy not LB

He wants to be there, he wants to win, he has multiple musclesready to tear 50 minutes into his second game

Disclaimer: I love SJ, but he’s a big risk and asking for trouble. And that’s coming from someone who picked TPG

That being said: there is something to be said for picking players you love.

It's taboo to whine about your selections being the fault of others but that doesn't seem to stop you.

So, in a game where both halves scored in the 20's, it's the guy who scored 4 points under his BE that has the problem, rather than the guy who scored 27 points below his BE?

Jake Averillo also scored a 20 first up, and then followed it with a 19 - definitely a dud with no chance he'd make money after that start... I.e. it's one game - let the kid play a handful before deciding whether he's any good or not

There was no group consensus about the guy who scored 27 below his BE, which is why it is not relevant. I never blamed anyone else for my selection. I just noted that as much as I tried to avoid groupthink I did not??

"I was not on top of my capacity to groupthink. I think it is telling the MattNZ jumped off him and wisely so. The evidence was there all along, it was just accepted wisdom that he would score well"

"If I stuck to my own judgements about who I should have in my team - Ilias would not have been there"

Where did I blame someone else? I feel I was being self-reflective

He is owned by 1.63%. I think we missed a bargain there.

Hopefully he did bring some form of calmness to the proceeding otherwise Broncos right edge were hell bent on giving the ball back to the opposition in the last few minutes.

    Nail on the head man.

We all want to win for sure, but do I think Sam Walker was the best possible choice given the coin I had? Probably not. But fuck do I love that kid and want to double enjoy him tearing it up!

    My thoughts thus far.

I thought Fifi/Fifita was now David and Andrew was Afifi. Please continue this way to stop confusing certain people.

I have been using @my tv broke website as the source of truth for stats and match centers for a very long time (don't use APP at all really in this respect). I also thought he was Justin from the OTL podcast (which I mentioned a while ago cryptically), but he has since revealed himself as nabbing Leniu. I will make my yearly subscription payment soon, thank you sir.
