Amone kicked just as much as he did in the trials. Was expected that he didnt do any kicking

Is there any sense in ditching Clark for Russell to free up 160k cash for next week? Left myself short on cash with only 7k itb at this stage.

Missed Tago and JKing and tempted to chase one of them. Only real dud so far is Billy Smith… (and an underperforming Ben Hunt) but won’t get much if I do trade Billy Smith + 7k

Got the same issue, missed both Tago and King and I have no funds.

Really at this stage unless we find the cash this week by downgrading I'm leaning towards downgrading one of my decent bench guys Ilias, Coates etc... To a cheapie and then going Smith up to one of them.

Finding the cash this week means can get both or means you can get one without having to trade down a decent bench guy and saves a trade

But then with most teams played I'd only do it if there was a cheap guy you were considering all preseason.

If TPJ is out I’ll just trade him trade to Burton… which I should do anyway considering my halves and Centre’s

Fermor to watch is an exciting pick though, feels similar to the Wilton feel.
He averages about 13 points less per game in base stats. Will rely more on attacking stats.

The main issue was Bunt pretty much ignored Amone and cut him out 9/10 times. Amone --> King seems a no-brainer at this stage. B.Smith can sulk in EMGs and think about his actions. Shame he was deemed a Grade 1 Conussion, apparently he and Radley had no symptoms at all.

I made the mistake last year of trading out averillo and Croker too early because I thought they were duds. It was a mistake because they both had the role, just needed some time to play into it. I'll be giving SWalker, Ilias, and BS3 at least one more week.

Gunna focus on saving trades to cover injuries/change of role more this year (unless a must have cheapie pops up of course). For me, at this point, JKing and Tago are desirable, but not must have.

So what is the story there, if the Bunker doc assesses it to be grade 1, you are automatically ruled out for the rest of the match, with no HIA assessment?

If that is the case, club docs will start taking a more conservative approach, taking players off themselves, so they can get an HIA assessment, rather than forcing bunker Docs hand.

As it stands at the moment I'll be looking at Amone to Josh King as well

That's right Matt. Robinson said in the match conference that there needs to be some consultation between the club docs and the independent doc in the bunker, because the independent doctor is basing the grading on the footage and not the symptoms of the player. Although Radley's head contact was quite forceful, it sounds like most of the force travelled down into the neck and wasn't blunt trauma to the head per-se. Didn't see Smith's so no opinion on that. Robbo said the independent doc is a fantastic idea though, and a much better idea than the exploitable system they had previously. Definitely agree, the old system benefited teams at the expense of their own player's health. The addition of consultation would benefit the new system. It's not like the club doctor is any less qualified than the independent doc, and they do get an idea of symptoms. Passing this info to an independent doc would hold them more accountable.

Leota out for an 'extended period': Following on from initial good news on Friday it seems that Leota’s shoulder is not responding to Physio and he could be out for an extended period. Will pass on any updates once they become available.

    Category 1 symptoms are:
Loss of consciousness, No protective action in falling (apparently Radley & Smith), Confusion & Disorientation, Motor Incoordination

Just realised I have abit of a problem for next week.

Smith is my only Centre cover at the moment as I have Crichton in the WFB spot.

Want to dump Smith next week.

I do have Coates and Russell so could play Coates (which I don't like too much) but to actually upgrade Smith to King I need to move on Coates or Ilias to a 240k guy.

Only thing I can think of is iPap to TPJ. Was keen on TPJ like others were untill that trial game where he looked a bigger suspension risk then we thought.

    Edit is Schiller an option?

Coates Smith to Schiller King would solve all problems if Schiller is ok cover
