I’m tempted to trade him this week. Just watching the game and versing storm is probably just about as hard as it will get. He looked slow on defence and didn’t seem to have any interest in Tb or offloads. Will probably score a try every now and then but I don’t see him going up that much to hold him.

Depends if you've missed a genuine captain option like Haas as to how desperate you want to be. I think a lot of people are overreacting after only 1 round of 'info' but devils advocate is that this round presents a great opportunity to jump onto a gun you missed or a great cow...so i can understand both sides. Not to brag but i ended up avoiding Utoikamanu for that reason, he might be underpriced by a bit but he probably isnt going to bust out huge scores and get into the real top echelon of mids.

So, my answer is that it really depends on what your priorities are. If your team looks good around Utoik then you can probably afford to trade him and get that gun or cow you missed. Alternatively, if you went into round 1 gun-ho on Utoikamanu then i reckon you keep the faith.

I admit while im happy i didnt take Utoikamanu, i did pick Lolo who may well be a similar case study. Im not trading Lolo because i have more urgent issues that need fixing but hypothetically if i didnt have Haas and/or i didnt have other issues i think id get rid of him.

I'm not used to having decent squad and score after Rd 1. My only problems Billy Smith, Ilias, and Koula but bought last one as cheap place holder with potential later on so not worried about him.
My FPL brain is used to amass value early even if means trading aggressively and with only 15k in bank and Grant or others maybe near must buys in near future I'm looking at Bird to Nanai. Selling Bird makes no sense but for the previous. Opinions welcomed

Lack of cheapies means I’ll probably not be trading. Keen on upgrading Welch but can’t find a suitable downgrade that I’m happy with. Hopefully next week throws us a bone.

Seriously both a rung below keepers in each position (WFB with Turbo/Pap/Hynes/Teddy/Latrell & HLF with Cleary/DCE/Hughes/Moses/Munster) but I would pick Ponga as closer to being a keeper

I've got all the good cows so far. Need a scorer this week. Thinking Vailea to Mann. Hold JTB and Lolo. I can see Mann, Lolo and JTB going well enough for a few weeks to fund a Cleary trade.
