The man with his ear to the ground, thanks mate. That's a curve ball.

There were doubts about our glorious half back even playing this week, so perhaps tthey are right.WT2K wrote:DT saying Hastings is Goal kicker this week. Was meant to kick last week but had a niggling injury

AFL coaches take paranoia to a whole new level which could be as a result of increased media scrutiny they are under.
The game as a whole, particularly commentary on it, seems to be some way behind league in terms of on field player welfare (e.g. concussions) and the 'hard man' front a lot of coaches, commentators and ex players try to publically portray. Despite the running gag with both union and AFL that League is a backward bogan sport, the NRL administration is a lot more proactive with pushing through change and resisting the old 'games gone soft' protestations.
Beverage lost his shit about a leaked team change....it was nothing and had no impact on the game or result. It was great to see him bring mental welfare in to it while berating someone with personal sledges on national TV . He got outplayed and acted like a petulant child.
Tom Morris works for Fox so you can take it for granted that he's a wanker
When Aussie rules people call league a bogan, backwards sport - where do they think all the equivalent lads in Vic, SA, WA and Tas go? They're the only game in town!
I'll take it from the rugby toffs but it's a bit rich from the kick-clappers.
Re: player welfare/concussions, the expert AFL uses to guide their policies - who has pretty consistently downplayed long-term concussion impacts - was exposed as a plagiarist last week.

When I first moved to WA the most common phrase was calling Leaguies ‘bum sniffers’. Then Hopoate did the Hopate and it was a nightmare.
Then the Pirates decided to, well just decided to call themselves the Pirates ffs. Like, then the Ass Pirates comments started up!

His highest ever scores are 60 and 61 which he needed a double to get to. Somehow he's managed a 41 and a 52 without a try but otherwise he needs to cross the line to get anything resembling a decent score.
Addo Carr got 6 tries past the Bunnies last year though so hopefully more of the same tonight.

But seriously, should I hold Hastings, don't be hasty and all. A wfb is needed though.
