Late Mail:The Panthers are tipped to be 1-17 with Spencer Leniu coming in for the injured Moses Leota and Matt Eisenhuth joining the bench. However Eisenhuth could be a late inclusion in the starting front row which would see Leniu continue his super sub impact role off the pine.

It comes after coach Anthony Griffin reportedly could still be a chance to play in Round 2 with coach Anthony Griffin admitted on Wednesday Sims needs more game time after the New South Wales Origin star featured for the Dragons' reserve grade side last week. “Tariq just needs minutes, and as I keep saying, he had a really interrupted off-season,” Griffin said.

I personally think Anthony Griffin is a bit past his prime.

Be careful looping with Koula, you might end up with a single digit score.

Late Mail: Second-rower Karl Lawton will need to pass concussion protocols to play after suffering a head knock against Penrith in Round 1. If Lawton is ruled out Andrew Davey will join the bench after making his return from an ACL injury last week via NSW Cup. Dylan Walker was picked to return from injury for his first game of the season, but if he is a late scratching, Tolutau Koula would replace him as he did last week on the bench.

Late Mail: In a huge boost for the Titans star five-eighth AJ Brimson has confirmed that he will return from a groin injury.“Yes, I am playing,” Brimsontold Titans.com.au on Friday. “I’m looking forward to it. I had a really good session with the boys today.” However, it’s not all good news with Jayden Campbell in doubt due to a knee injury, Will Smith, who covered five-eighth last week is tipped to come in at fullback if Campbell is ruled out. Hooker Erin Clark is also in doubt with a knee injury, with Tanah Boyd on standby in the reserves.

Late Mail:Cowboys captain Jason Taumalolo went into Round 1 without playing the trials due to a hamstring complaint and he was quiet in his 51 minutes against the Bulldogs.

But coach Todd Payten is confident he’ll fire again and play more minutes as the season progresses as speculation around Taumalolo’s future at the club grows louder. “He’s got a point to prove I guess,” Payten said. “There’s been a lot of conjecture around him and his involvement in the club, and I like when people poke the bear.” Reuben Cotter was a late scratching last week, but provided he gets through the captain’s run he will likely take Griffin Neame’s spot on the pine.

*although Leniu is starting prop, we don't expect big minutes as he was seen with hands on the hips at training

Hahahaha wow, the Beveridge v Morris story just gets better and better.

Morris sounds bit of a tool and will be hard to come back from that reputation damage when diversity is such a hot topic these days. One of his mates must've had it in for him for that to leak, yikes

On Arrow in the first half I'm sure he broke the line with a tb but no lb was given. Did anyone see that as well.

I didn't notice a lb but I thought he would have got a TO. He did a tackle with Murray. It was his shoulder that caused the player to lose the ball but Murray got the TO. Im assuming thats how the TO stat works

Happy with Paulo's 36. Being shunted to the wing isn't good for his JS, but I have to admit by the time the ball made it to he and Johnson's edge Reimis and Coates were all over them shutting them down, plus the passes were atrocious.

Grant 61 (c) is a little underwhelming after his 45 in the first half. Really looked underdone after about 60 minutes so hopefully the run in the legs will help.

Have the King's in a loop but extremely happy to take Josh's 50.

Pappy's 34 with a try, a goal, a field goal and a line break assists is a bit meh but he'll have his run. We have been a bit clunky these first two games and he is a class player. He will have his run of 60's.

Overall good result for bellyache, get 8 days off until we play the Eels next week which will be much needed.
