Yeah was only a throwaway comment, in all honesty though Gutho had one good year 3-4 years ago and has been riding off that year ever since. He is a liability under the high ball, has a couple drop balls in him a game and not that great of a defender. He has a couple good games a year and people forgive him because of those games. I don't rate him at all, but he still is ahead of Isaako I guess.

Gutherson is the best short side playmaker in the league and is great in support play. Not all fullbacks are flashy scoring lots of tries

Sorry MS, but I take a little offence to that comment. I do know my footy mate, I watch every single game, every weekend and have played rugby since I was 9 (only stopped playing a few years ago to try my hand at AFL). I am not saying fullbacks have to score a lot of tries to be a good fullback but I just think Gutho's decision making at times really lets him down (in part some of those decisions to go short side and get jammed up) and he is a liability under the high ball. Granted, he is still a good fullback and has good qualities you want in a fullback and is also a great leader, but I see him as slightly over rated.

TL;DR - no hate mate, just got me a little defensive Beating Heart

McInnes named on bench again leaving us all til game day to ponder what his role will be.

After an absolutely horrendous game last time around, Peachey is now named starting lock.

Paulo and Milne swap positions only for them to be swapped back 1hr before kick off

Fifita named on the bench with Proctor to start.

Koula named to start at centre. Everyone trades him in. Drops to 14 and plays 6min for 1 point.
A bunch of people have to take the score as Burton is a late out on Sunday.
Koula never plays first grade again.

Maybe a surprise EDG selection for the Knights???

Gutherson is overrated asf, slowest fullback in the nrl for sure, poses no real threat at the line besides a cut out pass to Sivo who then finishes off a great try...

(probably my personal bias coming into it as I can't stand the bloke hahaha)

Is it controversial to just think Gutho is a bit of a knob regardless of his league talent.
The guys has that many tickets on himself that there's none left for his teammates to claim.

For those looking at trading out Mann, he didn't train all week as he wasn't right. He is getting good minutes and expect he will come right.

Coach says Edrick is coming back into the team.

I am finding listening to the post match press conferences to have quality info on how the coach is thinking and insights into what is likely to happen in coming rounds.

Not sure that's relevant as his output was no different from round 1.
He made the same amount of tackles and metres so wasn't underdone, just didn't get the attacking stats we want from him and gave away a couple of penalties.
He'll still average 40-45, just seems that 30 is his floor for 60min.

    That's good to know.

With you on the Mann train, reckon if he continues to get 60+ minutes he's bound to have a few big games soon.

Would  NRL Fantasy 2022 Part 16 - That's a Starling Choice - Page 6 2764 if he replaces Campbell! Not like they are short of quality wingers, Sami and Marzhew were some of the best on field at the weekend.

Isaako to the Titans probably makes the least sense given the club's already strong wing depth

    Who's out there?

    Mansour?
    Jorge Taufua?

I'm really tempted by Adam Reynolds over an unknown like Sexton at the same price. Kelly didnt kick at all next to him, so he is still dominating there, but he is also going to get attacking stats this season that he didnt have next to Cody last year. Just 6 TAs last season. Should have had his first for this season with his tunnel ball pass.

Its Reynolds team, should dominate everything.

I think it's the bias lol

We've just spent a whole weekend here with people crying about the Titans being unable to find a pass to their most dangerous attacking asset.

Now let's criticise a guy for offering "no threat" except throwing bullets to their most dangerous attacking asset.

I know everyone here hates him, but it's becoming unhinged when people think he might get dropped for Isaako, or isn't in the top half a dozen or so FBs in the comp.
