Any danger of a bit of group-think for trading Thompson in? 6-0 in his favour over May in the TU/TD thread, for a guy that scored 15 in round 1.

Or am I overthinking it, and a 250k guy with a breakeven of 1, Klemmer out, Barnett moving to the edge, and 25% ownership to mitigate the risk just a no-brainer?

there are no guarantees, but the stars do seem to align in favour of Leo

Here's my line of thinking with trading Leo Thompson in.

Amone is shit and I'm taking the trash out. The end.

I was 50/50 on him before the Klemmer set-back news, now I'm happy to buy. It's no slam-dunk but I don't see anyone around. Looks likely too, I was yelling at the tv on the weekend "wrap him up, wrap him up!" before he popped yet another offload.

I am under no illusions but his dot is green and with Tuilagi having a 'rest' this week I had a couple of red ones cluttering up my bench. I also have a shitload of centre options.

Red out, Green in, fingers crossed

Round 2 trade: Fermor -> Tago

Round 3 trade: Uto -> Fermor

WOW, what a great start to the year.

I have a hole in my team that needs a cash cow to fill.

When you arrange the letters of Leo Thompson you get 'Stomp on hole'.

I think that's enough evidence that he's a trade in.

I think it depends who you are trading out to get him.

I am torn between ditching Tuilagi (red dot but might come back and make money) or Utokoimanu (better scorer but free up Cleary cash) or just doing nothing

Which set of trades do you like. (a) sells Mahoney, (b) keeps Mahoney:
    (a) Mahoney, Tuilagi out - Starling, Sexton in or
    (b) Tuilagi, Ilias out - Starling, Leo Thompson in

    Thanks.

Having second thoughts about whether Lolo -> Starling is worth it this week. Can always wait a week, if Lolo does finally come right could pivot Mann to Starling instead.

Might be better off cleaning out the trash so to speak with Vailea and Russell -> May and Thompson

Just heard Bullemore on the radio and there was no mention of an injury on the weekend. As an aside he definitely doesn’t sound like the typical nrl player, very intelligent and well spoken.

Maybe des is going senile and literally forgot he was on the bench. This is why bully kept standing up in the second half, to try get noticed

    My current team is

    Randall
    Angus TPJ Mann
    DFifi Aitken
    Clifford Schneider
    Burton Tago
    Hynes Pap Crichton

    Ming Nanai Penisini Bullemor

    Ilias Tuilagi B.Smith Coates

Thinking of swapping Angus to Yeo for captain, just deciding on who to swap out for Thompson or Starling.

Hadn't even considered Lolo to Sexton. Hmm.

Lolo to Starling + 248k Cleary bank, Lolo to Sexton + 78k Cleary bank, or give Lolo one more chance to come right?
