Wasn't he covering JMK? I assume it would be different role if he starts next to Burt.

I am hoping Burton will be Hynes 2.0 - jury is out. I do think Hynes could rival DCE this season, even perhaps....

    Thinking (C)urran.

Although the game could be a high scorer which could be less conducive to a good score from him. Also have Sexton and Hynes if I feel like captaining a half.

Who are you non-Haas owners captaining?

Curran is a busy player mate. I don't own him, I would (C) Hynes if I didn't have Haas, and even then I have thought hard about Hynes, but i'll only risk it if I had fallen way behind early doors.

Between Fifita and Hynes for me. Grant would've been in the mix but he already got (C)ovid

lol I did not realise it’d come up that big mate I just copied and pasted it off his twitter page.

I had no intention of yelling mate. Sorry if you took it that way.

I’m saving the yelling for when I’m at the game tomorrow night!

Well you’ve convinced me! He stays. My only issue is someone needs to go, my side really has started very badly, and he’s giving me the shits with his mysterious disappearances during games!

Made one trade with Simpkin to Starling but its a tough week thats for sure
and it’s only round 3 mate that’s the bad thing gonna be a lot like this every week unfortunately.

Covid numbers in NSW starting to rise too nearly at 25,000 this new strain not deadly pretty mild they say but much more contagious. Gonna be madness as we get closer to winter. Some weeks we may just have to take the hit and play with 15 especially at origin time.

If I wasn't happy with my start I would 100% throw it on him, think he has very high base and makes points much like Cleary can, from many different areas of the game.

But my Capt is safe as a Haas!

Well I can’t have high blood pressure now or tonight I need to save that for Grant Atkins tomorrow night our worst record under any ref is under him so I’ll be doing all I can to get our boys some six agains and penalties.

Mate I’ve done Tuilagi to Starling, I am a bit stuck on one thing though I want Leo Thompson for cash gen but weighing up who goes out of Billy Smith or Ilias. Billy will rely on tries whilst if Souths hold the ball Lachy should get more kick metres and tackles and who knows a try assist or a good run and he can get points. Just feels like Lachy will have more opportunities for points.

JD said today that they’ve been working really hard with Lachy this week on a few things and that he’s feeling more comfortable and has learnt from the last 2 weeks so let’s see if that’s the case. JD also has put emphasis on that the forwards need to do better so then our spine can do what they do.

Also finally listened to our injury rehab video and Ta’affe injury is a bit worse of an ankle sprain than first thought so he’s looking like being out til round 6 now which means Lachy could be safer a bit longer as there is no one else. Round 5 on our draw eases up a bit too.

I dunno maybe my bias is getting in the way here and I should hold Billy maybe my red and green glasses are blinding me....... maybe they aren’t.....

Considering an audible of Mahoney to starling and illias to sexton. Anyone fight me on that?

Had Mahoney pegged as Cleary funds but realistically that’s Gilbert/Mann + Fifita to become Cleary and cow

I liked sexton all pre-season and didn’t like Mahoney. Writing the wrongs of my Thursday round 1 taking sexton and Tago out etc and Mahoney in and captaining him

Defo can't fight against Ilias to Sexton, I am just not 'yet' sold on Starling getting more than 60mins and 42 points average, is that enough for two trades?

Thanks mate it’s locked in Tuilagi to Starling Silver baby and Smith to Thompson for some faster cash gen.

Billy better not score a try or 2 tomrrow night now!
