Although the game could be a high scorer which could be less conducive to a good score from him. Also have Sexton and Hynes if I feel like captaining a half.

Who are you non-Haas owners captaining?
Hynes! My Captain choices have been rubbish so you have been warned.

Had Mahoney pegged as Cleary funds but realistically that’s Gilbert/Mann + Fifita to become Cleary and cow

I liked sexton all pre-season and didn’t like Mahoney. Writing the wrongs of my Thursday round 1 taking sexton and Tago out etc and Mahoney in and captaining him

Yeah making last minute changes prior to round 1 is a lesson i'll take into next season. We do weeks, if not months of study, only to rely on our 'gut' with 10 minutes til kickoff...so much regret.

So I totally get the righting the wrongs..I dropped Tago for Leniu

Tago was the first guy I traded in after R1.

Sexton I want but I just can’t get him in now and get my team balance right.

Re Starling I can see a scenario where Ricky either brings him off 45-50mins in then 10-15mins later brings him back on if it’s a close game. Or if the game is on the line he may just opt to keep him out there.

Some weeks I think Starling will get 60mins and other weeks I could see him getting 70mins. He plays round 13 too so I wouldn’t look to move him on til after that.

I’m getting my hooker theme going again too now have Grant, Randall and Starling.

I like that a lot actually, Mahoney probably averages a bit more than Starling long term but Starling plays 13 and no chance of origin so probably covers that difference and you're upgrading a nuff to a borderline gun. Very good trades in my humble opinion

If trevilyan (whoever) was on the bench I’d wait but frawley shouldn’t take many minutes. Either way he’s underpriced for sure

100%. The flow on effect of Mahoney in and captained last few hours somehow lead me to bring in Amone, smith etc and have no Tago, sexton or bird. Combined probably 150 points and some cash gen, trades used to right the wrongs etc. you definitely need some luck in this game

Thanks mate it’s locked in Tuilagi to Starling Silver baby and Smith to Thompson for some faster cash gen.

Billy better not score a try or 2 tomrrow night now!

good onya mate, who cares Smith could score three tries for 35 points and still average 17 for the year, you pulled the right trigger imho.

Yeah, the things I have been saying on here could lead one to think I don't rate Starling at all, he is definitely on my radar, but I am wait and see as his BE isn't super low.

I also don't own Grant, so that is probably reducing my gaze at Starling as a 'back-up' option to trying to go up to Grant I guess.

Starling likely ends up playing 80 mins most weeks and has keeper potential

    I am a gambler...

    DFifi/Nanai out

    Burton/Bird in.

This shores up some weaknesses I had (I started with 4 cheap halves and two centres) and I will be bringing DFifi back after origin.

Is the consensus on here that Bullemore is a better trade out option than Tui

Some of these trades.....you bunch of savages

MInbe are of course the moves of a measured and reasonable human bean Twisted Evil

Also what's with the upsurge in trying to predict how the coach will use a certain player.....having played this game for over a decade I can safely predict that I don't know shit about that prior to it actually happening. Some of the predictions are both outlandish and supremely confident at the same time.

Can I get some looping help lads? I’m hopeless. Keen to see as many scores as I can

    Starling
    King Mann Gilbert
    Wilton (red dot) Fifita
    Burton Sexton
    Tago Penisini
    Papi Hynes Crichton

Schneider Randall TPJ Tuilagi (red dot)

Amone (get to see his score on Thursday), nanai, Bullemoor, smith

So Amone in the loop for the bench. Nanai in position for 2nd row but not a free look. Is there any other wizardry I can manage?
